    Them drivers were some men going that distance and doing repairs on the way pure legends drove 88 and 89 here in the republic of ireland near retirement now 👍

    I had an f88 for three years back in the eighties best truck i had in the forty years i was driving years ahead of its time

    Brings back a lot of fond memories seeing all these trucks and companies some of them still going today. as they say those were the days

    Certainly some Long Haul Giants from yesteryear... Did some travelling with my Dad in the F88 / F89. Class motors of that time.

    The Yeoman low loaders fabulous heavy duty nuts and bolts, no gizmos, mirror guards, led's, etc, definitely the truck of its time. Also remember the Aston Clinton Haulage trucks near Aylesbury, they were a common sight when I was a teenager 😀

    F88 was one of 1st trucks I drove sod going to Iraq in one 😂🤣
    Just had over the phone job interview can I drive a. Manual box 😂🤣

    I used to like the 88 and 89 but wouldnt like em now. Ok to drive but not a nice place to live week in week out for a few months I can tell ya.

      @@CarlosAlberto-ii1li compared to most of gear that was about in the early 70s they were way ahead. I just spent too much time tramping Europe in them. A very small space to live in was my biggest beef with them, but it has to be said pretty snug in the cold weather.
