That is on fine Massey you have there. Nice work!
@@benkanobe7500 thanks I appreciate. I put lots of hours into this tractor.
Nice job Dave! Battery operated impacts sure have made our lives easier!
Yes very powerful and no air line needed lol
Cracking job there ! lovely little MF35 , really enjoyed the videos on this tractor! keep them coming!
Thanks for watching.
My 35 has a second set of chains running from the fixing points on the axle to the same point as the inner chains on the lower links this seems easier and allows for adjustment of the tension!
I never saw a setup like that before sounds like it would work well.
I have a MF-50 and use old 1-piece stabilizer arm for brush hog or 3-point hitch deal.
I like this idea was trying to figure out how to do it now I know 😊😊
I am glad my video helped you. Good luck building a set of bars for your tractor.
Nice work
Very nice
Lota work considering new bars are cheap....I fitted a pair yesterday!
Smart guy!!! Needing to do the same thing on my JD 1020.
They work great and make backing up trailers much easier with no slop in the 3 point.
@@thedelcodave I put chains on but I think they are to soft and have stretched. I may just upgrade the chains. I can’t remember the different mounting opportunities until I look at it again.
@@nmjazz09 chains would work but these adjustable bars are nice because you can tighten all slop out.
@@thedelcodave I agree. I even got a different but similar idea from what you did.
Change the brackets side to side it would give you more a stable setup great video
Thankyou I will look at the brackets I know they were labeled left and right not sure if they are reversible.
measure both sides, add them together and divide by two, this is the centre to centre for the sway bar, you will need to make an offset on the bar too. Normally they are made from 2x1/2 inch bar. I only use a sway bar on one side. I think your rear mount frame may be a bit wide so the geometry is not the best?
I could definitely see if my hitch frame was a couple of inches more narrow it would make my bars work even better. Most of the movement that is left now is coming from the worn ball sockets on the 3 point arms.
I have a 1960 MF TO-35 passed down I am the 5th generation with it. Would love to know where you track down some of those parts.
In the USA there are three companies all owned by one that have a ton of parts. Yesterdays tractors, all states ag parts and tractor Joe. Some specialty parts like the serial number plates I found on eBay in England. Most of the aftermarket parts are made by sparex.
I have a 35 Massey gas. I'll seriously buy this kit off you. Do you offer the same kit? I need this for my hill make attachment.
No kit just made it from pipe and treaded rod I had leftover from other projects.
Do you have a material list
Sorry I do not have a list just was building with what I had laying around
I don’t see any penalty for welding that but. Just my 2 cents
