Despite the overall impression from this here, Ice Shards imo are still one of the top three Strikes in the Balance branch
Scales well with Luck, Good damage profile, provides CC via frozen relatively fast, that being said, the base range of the shards definitely could do with a buff, just so area doesn't feel as mandatory for the function of them

I was talking about how P Velocity doesn't work for Rock Shield recently. Might have been that.

have you found the jewel that gives +1 revive? I never change it for all my builds. Most of the games you've lost to the djinn, would have been won wearing that.

I have it, I typically don't think it's worth the tradeoff of the Stats you'd get from the gem
