Complicating the import valuation math (for Americans) is the fact that the excellent/extremely similar game "Top Ten" just got released here under the name "That Escalated Quickly", and is readily available at Target online for $20, most likely with free shipping. That makes Ito a less accessible/expensive redundancy, unless its questions are significantly better. Thanks for all that you do by the way, I love your channel. =D
We actually did a podcast comparing the two! but that was long enough ago that Top 10 wasn't that accessible so maybe it's worth re-exploring. Thanks for letting us know!
Thanks for the great reviews! You mentioned in another video that there was an English list of categories for Ito floating around, but I couldn't find it on bgg or reddit. Any hints on where it was posted?
Thank you for the video! Very insightful. I'm planning on getting a friend to pass some board games to me from Japan. So far it will be Ito Rainbow (thanks for this video) and Harvest. Is there any other recommendations you have? Ideally games that are only obtainable in Japan :D
Oh man that's such a difficult question. It really depends on what you like! I think those two are a good start and maybe I'd throw in Crash Octopus if you like dexterity games? Have you watched our Top 10 imports video? We list 10 games that are really only obtainable as imports on that video and I think it still holds up.
@@junhaoxu. Are you secretly watching us? 😧 That's back-to-back days where you've asked about the video we have scheduled for the next day lol We have our Rumble Nation review going live in a couple hours!
Just want to say thanks for this video! it came just in time and was very helpful! We appreciate it!
