Within seconds, I fell in love with her voice and relaxed way of explaining the cooking process. In between, she cracked a joke and showed her humorous side of life. When I read the comments, to my shock, I discovered that she's no longer with us. Thanks Fatima, I'm about to use your recipe and I know you'll be proud with the results. RIP.

Cabbage and cauliflower are from the same family. You will need to add water here though. The cauliflower is not as water saturated as the cabbage. So, yes you can make it the same way :)
Hello aunty. Talk about atchaar. Howz about an atchaar recipe, lemon (how to avoid the bitterness), vegetable, curried chillies, etc. It could be like a series, prep veg and soak then next week the actual masala-ring or something to that effect
Do you suppose I could do this with frozen cabbage? I bought a bag of shredded cabbage from PnP a month back, and didnt do the planned recipe so I threw it in the freezer after few days. I know it won't work for coleslaw anymore
