  • This week starts off in the West coast town of Ayr for a quick visit to Rozelle park before we head into the town to see what it has to offer.
Then we head across East to explore the hidden history of Rosyth and the echoes of Victorian industry at Limekilns and Preston Island.
A huge thank you to everyone who's supported our wee channel so far, if you'd like to help support our wee adventures you can do it through through our Ko-Fi or Patreon.
All our videos are hand made from 100% organic ingredients ;). Our content is mostly filmed on a GoPro 11 with a Rode fluffy microphone to keep the wind noise down, with occasional bits on an iPhone13. We also use a DJI Mini 3 drone which we're loving getting to grips with.
We make our own music using GarageBand and the videos are edited in iMovie.
If you'd like to buy DeNiro a biscuit (and he's a good boy, honest) you can via our Ko-Fi link at www.ko-fi.com/S....
If you'd like to become a patron of our wee channel we also have a patreon at / scotlandonashoestring
We also have an Etsy shop where we sell some of our hand made items. It's at dandbbythesea....

That large kiln was really impressive. You could definitely take some very atmospheric pics there.

    Interesting about the witch.
Aw. Shame you can't see the salt pans. Almost looks like a Cornish tin mine.

What a neat perspective of the Forth Bridges. Enjoyed the views of the harbors and boating community. Living near a fairly large harbor, seeing how the Scot's do it rounds out the total experience. Watched a few short's afterwards and I had to contain my laughter!

Lime was used in so many processes . Interesting to see the Kilns. Seeing old boats deteriorating is sad , upkeep costs are very high. Ah grave stones are very interesting. I like the witches grave stone story about keeping her from rising. DeNiro zoomies are full of pure joy .

I was surprised by the boats. There must be quite a lot of money slowly sinking there.

Yeah. Don’t know if that’s a replacement stone or what. Need to get back there for a better look.

Good to have a pootle! I wonder if the harbour is closed because of the amount of wrecked hulls submerged...?

That's some kiln works!! Amazing to see it all still there. Wonder what they mean by 'Rooms' on the gravestones, can't find anything on Mr Google about it, very odd!

It's still cool to find new things like that. We've been to, erm, one or two graveyards and not seen that wording before.
