Wow! What a great video! Such awesome views…you are correct, picture postcard perfect!!! Love all the drone footage. The reflection on the water is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. PS: Please don’t take this the wrong way, love all your videos, but this was certainly one of the best ones. 👍🏼
Just stumbled across your page! You guys are great, thanks for all your hard work. The mini kelpies are called The Maquettes, they are 1/10 scale to the kelpies, they were made by Andy Scott too. They went on a world tour, and they made it to Ardrishaig for the opening of the Egg Shed in 2019.
Just beautiful You seriously should consider adding canvas photos to your shop. The shot of the reflective water, boats and church, I'd pay to add to our collection. Bits and pieces of Scotland are on our walls throughout our home. Hopefully we can return to visit.
One late night I walked into a pub and everybody stopped and stared at me. Already having had a few drinks, I said, "Jeez! It's like walking into a Western here!" Before I knew it, I had lots of new pals! 😂
So cool to see your video clips from Inveraray, Kilmartin, Lochgilphead and Ardrishaig as it reminded us of when we were in all four of those places (which we've shared on our channel). We thought about going up to the Crinan basin and the sea lock where the canal starts but didn't make it. We did cross the end of it where it exits into Loch Fyne at the south end of Ardrishaig (when we were on our way to Tarbert). Great video! Thanks for sharing your adventures as it brought back good memories!
We stayed at Kilmartin on our 20th anniversary trip to Scotland. It's a beautiful place, and their museum is so cool! Did you see the cairns or standing stones in the glen? There are more amazing grave slabs a little ways south at Kilmory Knap Chapel. And on the way you can stop at Castle Sween.

We agree! This is one of our favourites too

Thank you!! We’ve seen the ones by the big kelpies but didn’t know there was another set :)
Just beautiful

You’re welcome to download photos from our KoFi and get them printed, the reflections one is on there :)
Great episode but as I mentioned before: you would win every fast talk competition you would😂 attend
Thank you for bringing us along on this beautiful trip! I really look forward to your weekly videos.
Thank you. We’ve got lots of places still to visit.
You’ve found another lovely spot. Thank you for sharing it with us! I love canals, having grown up near one in the USA. Pets to DeNiro.
The work that goes into canals is always amazing.
Very lovely. Your part of the world is beautiful.
It really is!
Amazing views . Knowledge of the locks !! Yummy looking scones.
The scones were a highlight.
Lovely scenery 😁
It's just gorgeous up there.
@@scotlandonashoestring a bit of an understatement from me 😂 but yes it is 😁
Gorgeous views!
They are!
Thank you for another great video. I look forward to seeing your adventures 😊
Thank you for watching.
Smashing, smashing, smashing! How could you leave dear ol' Val behind? 😂
It was tough…
Loved the video this week, happy days! Truly enjoy your crocheting - as I watch and knit.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful episode and scenery! Loved the jokes!😊❤👍
Thank you. We’re glad someone does :)
I like the narration then the abrupt left turn, it is so "Scotland on a Shoestring". Hang on (for dear life), our adventure is about to start!
Well straight on was too obvious.
Beautiful
Thank you

We didn’t hang around to make friends :))
I do love the lochs.😊❤🎉
What a beautiful place!

We’d never been to Crinan, it kind of blew us away!
@@scotlandonashoestring we can see why. Wish we'd been able to fit it into our trip.
What a gorgeous area. Hard to leave there. I would love to cycle along that canal!
It was a brilliant day, made better by finding Crinan at the end.
Your accent is amazing. It seems to me that many are losing that dialect. That's awesome 🎉 from me in Alaska 😊
Thank you! 😃

We didn’t this trip, I’ve (Iain) been round them all before but we had a lot to squeeze in. We’ll be back.
What a stunning place! Those stone are pretty much all taller than me (I'm only 5ft!) haha, fab details on them though.
They were, but next week we find the best grave markers we’ve found, with DeNiro’s noble ancestors on them.
@@scotlandonashoestring The ones tonight were awesome too!
