DIY CUTTING and STITCHING BABY ball gown with TULIP PETAL SLEEVES | Baby girl frock BROCADE gown

Welcome back to our channel. Today, I’m going to guide you through the process of cutting and stitching a beautiful baby girl ball gown with a tulip sleeve/petal sleeve.
1. Materials needed
• Fabric of your choice
• Scissors and brown paper(optional)
• Sewing machine (or needle and thread)
• Hard net
• Lining material and zipper
• Measuring tape
2. Measurements:
If your child is a one year old, you can as well make use of the measurements in this video. But for the sake of perfection, take your baby's measurement before anything else. Measure their back/shoulder, chest, waist, hip, gown length, sleeve length, and sleeve round.
3: Draft on paper, Cut on the Fabric
Once you have your measurements, it’s time to cut the fabric. Use your measuring tape and mark the measurements onto the fabric, leaving some extra allowance for seams.
4. Sewing the pieces together
Place all the main fabric pieces together and sew. Do same for the lining pieces. Join the sleeves to the bodice.
5: Making and adding the gathers
Cut out the desired fabric length, sew one end to conceal the roughness. Then, gather the other edge by sewing a basting stitch and pulling the thread to create ruffles. Pin and sew the ruffles onto the front piece.
6: Cutting and attaching the lining and hard net
Cut the lining material to be 4 inches shorter than the main fabric. Pleat it around the upper bodice. Do same for the hard net but with a 6 inches length difference.
Voila!
Your little ones dress is ready.
