This happened to us last year. The flimsy plastic stakes it comes with were a joke and the one that blew away was never found 😳 Glad I found this tip!!
I thought about that but I would think that could be very messy and you would loss Integrity of the foam tombstone. Some of mine are very thin to being with. Hope this helps.

Try using _rebar_ instead of metal conduit. It will go onto the ground easier and its super cheap

Aren't those made of foam? Can't you just make a hole in the center and stick your pipe in that, then glue it?

I'm sorry but this is waaayyy overkill. The amount of materials used is way too costly. I simply hot glue a metal stake on each side and done.
