  • Welcome back to customspraymods RUclips channel! In today's video, I'll be sharing how I used spray painting and polishing techniques to boost the aesthetics and value of my car.
Whether you're looking to refresh your vehicle's appearance or enhance its resale value, these DIY methods can make a big difference! I'll take you through the process step-by-step, from prepping the surface and selecting the right spray paint to achieving a professional-level finish with polishing.
Spray painting your car can help cover up scratches, chips, or imperfections in the paint job, giving it a fresh, like-new look. With a wide range of color options available, you can also choose to give your vehicle a completely new and personalized appearance.
After applying the spray paint, polishing the surface is essential to ensure a smooth and glossy finish. Using the right polishing compounds and techniques can greatly enhance the shine of your car's paint, making it look showroom-ready.
Join me as I demonstrate the before and after results of this transformation, showcasing how a little bit of effort and creativity can go a long way in increasing the value of your car. Don't forget to subscribe for more car-related content and tips on maintaining and enhancing your vehicle!
Thanks for watching and happy painting! 🚗💨

I run a DV1S for Smart Repair with 1.2mm nozzle and S1 cap, and run the 0.9mm for cerakote. Came with the 0.7mm/0.9mm with micro cap which cerakote is its main purpose but the micro cap doesn't allow the fan to open up wide enough with it so I bought the S1 cap and grabbed a 1.2mm nozzle for spot repair while I was at it and pps 2.0 adapter for spot repair work. Good gun

Hey man, I’ve got a question that I can’t get a straight answer for.
I’m spraying an Eastwood dtm epoxy primer and it says you can recoat within 4 or 5 days. I sprayed it and was going to go over with a 2k after an hour and a half but it’s still a little tacky so decided I’ll wait 24 hours. My question is do I need to clean the epoxy primed panels when I prime tomorrow or just tack rag it??
Thanks for reading this novel lol.

You do fantastic work! If I wanted to take my truck to the paint/body shop to have scratches taken out and essentially what you did on the outside, what would be the best way to describe that service request?

Mate awesome video!! How do I get tree sap off my car that’s been there for years?! Am I doomed?

Try dissolve with some solvent. Maybe wax and grease remover or thinners. (Thinners won't harm factory paint) Then see if it needs polishing. There are also plastic razorblades that may help.

I have a portercable 7424 I've had for like.... 14 years maybe. Thinking about going to a forced rotation DA or just a full rotary, but can't make up my mind. The PC isn't bad, it's just loud and vibrates like hell.

Thanks for all the great tips. One question - I thought when people in the UK first saw America's peanut butter, they believed it be something other than edible?
