These comments are super helpful. I find that with Bach it is so easy to get lost in his ideas as he explores them on the page and hearing them come to life on your own instrument is the most marvellous thing so much so that we or at least I, forget that the piece has a purpose and an overall structure where for the period, the pulse is just so important and so I must force myself to adjust the idea to the pulse and not the pulse to the idea. Truely wonderful stuff, thank you do much for sharing this video.
Ms. Sun has nice tone and good sense of Bach contrapuntal approach. But there's only one towering genius who set the golden standard for this Chaconne without flaw: Henryk Szeryng. Listen to it.

I like all of his cute ideas. They really helped her improve her sound. I'll try to incorporate his cute ideas into my own playing.
That was absolutely fantastic! She was amazing and tired at the end from all the work and improvement!! Bravo!
Her playing is lovely! And i learned a lot about phrasing from Levin C.- thanks for posting! Playing the Chaconne is a life project.🎻
Amazing articulation by the proffessor and a good quick learner
I just saw the girl on Royal college of music web page. She is now a professor of RCM.
Very interesting class.Thank you for uploading it.
Glad you liked it!
Cute moments🤔
Amazing 😉
Thanks 😆
Was that Schumann comment referring to the second song of Liederkreis? I can’t think of another example of Schumann with a “missing” downbeat.
La costumbre de hacer los acentos de los acordes con el arco hacia arriba y además el profesor insiste en la melodía
he says: you heart the heifetz's recording of this :D I love it too
