The record-breaking 15th season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is its most ambitious yet. In the seismic wake of Covid-19 and all things 2020, The Gang stands at a crossroads in this strange new world. The rules are changing quicker than anyone can keep up with, despite herculean efforts from Mac (Rob McElhenney), Charlie (Charlie Day), Dennis (Glenn Howerton), Dee (Kaitlin Olson) and Frank (Danny DeVito) to continue business as usual. Now, they must face the music and decide who they’ll become in the cultural upheaval that is 2021. Across the span of eight episodes - and the Atlantic Ocean - we find them answer in a way only they could think to.

@@waynestephenson8798 I was thinking the same thing. A lot of the lines from the bloopers in that scene were better than the actual episode, but I think just physically couldn't get thru some of them haha
Even without any context it's a hilarious line.
Because they couldn't start laughing. The resume scene is barely in the episode.
They said in the podcast that they cut it because in the editing room they needed to cut and it didn't add anything to the story. Even when it was really funny, they just couldn't fit it in.
I love that they had to cut Gladys's line cause they couldn't stop laughing

I feel like in the first clip everyone broke at one point. Even Danny Devito who rarely cracks.

They didn’t cut it. It’s all in there. She improvised “shh” with the finger though hahaha the original “make time” made it

Whenever I watch Sunny bloopers I'm always impressed by how infrequently the supporting actors break character
im sure theyre too nervous to laugh
Because they can't really afford to screw up scenes.
If a support character wastes time with laughing, they get replaced. If a main character wastes time with laughing, it becomes a blooper 🥴
I think it mostly owes to the support actors being real actors, while the main cast is just a bunch of friends goofing around.
@@weneedaladder8384 Rob, Charlie, and Dennis were all trained actors with various credits to their name before they started IAS. Rob and Glenn both majored in drama and Charlie was active in theater. They all worked on early 2000s crime-dramas/sitcoms before Always Sunny.
The guy who did the job interview, and was also a waiter and a flight attendant, is the best actor on the show. Steals every scene he’s in. Cricket, of course, is just as good.
That guy was also tortured by David Blaine himself!

Diem tbf it could just be 1 year. Like if a resume says “attended college from 2013-2017” that doesn’t mean they attended college for 5 years. They just started in the fall of the 1st year and ended in the spring of the 4th. Though I like how they didn’t include any months/seasons to make it as ambiguous as possible lol
@@diem1489 The actor playing the interviewer (and later the waiter) is so good. They even mention in the podcast with him that these bloopers are mainly hilarious because of his delivery reading off the ridiculous resume.

3:25 i love how subtle this is, and how much it makes Charlie crack up. I don't think I've seen him break this much in a blooper.

I never get tired of this show, they are really good at mixing things up to keep feeling fresh and funny.

I remember on the podcast they said how sometimes it pains them to cut great scenes which don't progress the story, the interview scene 2:18 is a prime example of that. So much funny material wasn't used, the outtakes are as good as the scene in the episode.

I've seen multiple people in here call him the principal. What am I missing? He's just a manager or something similar in this office. The principal character is a completely different actor.
