    Ingredients
    1 Kg rice roasted
    1/2 cup chana dal
    1/4 cup urad dal flour (black gram)
    1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
    1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
    1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
    1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
    1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing)
    Salt to taste
    Water as required
    Oil for frying
    Preparation Method
    1. In a large pot put chakali flour cumin seeds sesame seeds turmeric powder red chili powder asafoetida and salt.
    2. Add oil and mix well.
    3. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. The dough should be smooth enough to press through the Chakli mold.
    4. Fill the dough into the Chakli maker and shape the Chaklis.
    5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the Chaklis on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy.
    6. Let the Chaklis cool completely and store them in an airtight container.
