That’s a great question! I had it rebound specifically for the leather and structure that Rustic Nails could offer. The Allen binding I had in a previous ESV1 was to loose for my taste. Rustic Nails gave me the tighter binding and firmer feel that I was looking for in a Bible. I mostly love the ESV1 by Allen because of the text block they use.
Hey Tom! In my opinion most premium Bibles have great binding, but having it rebound by someone may give it more durability over time. More care goes into a rebound Bible than most mass produced premium Bibles like Cambridge and Crossway
@@TomPlantagenet not to mention Tom, you can get a Bible customized to your exact preferences that will be with you the rest of your life. I have a bright yellow goatskin esv thinline with royal blue ribbons art gilt and stamping. Pretty fantastic.

Do you know if there’s a cover reinforcement sheet in between the inner liner and outer cover?
It feels as if there is! Definitely stiffer than your typical Schuyler or Allen Goatskin Bible.
