Been here since the first Kane eddy awards and just wanted to thank you for making great videos all year! Hopefully you get the larger audience you deserve in 2025!
Great video dude. I can see the blood tears and ESPCIALLY SWEAT you poured into this. Fun watch. Congrats to all the winners and congrats on getting married!
Thanks Zach I really appreciate it, the room was so damn hot haha. We got married a few days ago now and it was absolutely perfect. I look forward to checking out the Zach Attack Awards when I get some free time!!
I missed the film I'm Still Here, which is a wonderful film, it has Fernanda Torres who is the main actress in the film, she is incredible in the film, watch Still I'm Here❤
This was the toughest one to do because I loved a lot of films this year and those 3 are definitely included. Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin were on my shortlist as well as Ralph Fiennes. It was really tricky to pick these nominees apart because the gap felt so small.
Congrats on the upcoming wedding! Is your LA destination far from the current wildfires? Please have a safe trip and a wonderful wedding:) Also, congrats for this fantastic year end capper. You have all the reasons in the world to be proud of this video and all the work you put into this excellent channel. Meeting and then having an ongoing conversation about all things films with you has been a year's highlight for me and I thank you for all your time and countless thoughtful replies. I love the idea of considering every sequel script an adapted screenplay. It makes such perfect sense that I can't believe every award group doesn't do it. Also, once again, you've made me reconsider seeing a bunch of films here that I had previously decided that I didn't need to watch. Since it sounds like you may be an even bigger fan of foreign films than I, please consider tracking down two absolute bangers I saw this year. From 2000, Edward Yang's "Yi Yi," and from 2022, "The Quiet Girl," directed by Colm Bairéad. In my mind, these are both not only 5* films but game changers in other ways to me. The Quiet Girl is based on a novella by Claire Keegan and seeing the film led me to a writer that I liked so much, I instantly went out and purchased everything she's ever done. And Yi Yi introduced me to a director that I found so interesting that I'm already watching his other work. While it sounds like it's hot as hell by you, here, it's just begun to snow here. Time for me to go to work. Thanks again for the video; it was a great watch:)
Thank you for your kind words Rich it really means the world to me. It has been such a pleasure to discuss film with you over the years and I have always enjoyed our conversations. I'm glad I provided some more recommendations hopefully you find those films to be enjoyable. We're getting married in San Francisco, then we will be heading to LA then New York afterwards. We've been planning it for about 3 years now so it's been a long time coming and feels unreal that it's coming up so soon. Fortunately our hotel is located away from the danger zone currently. The fires are something we have our eye on and we are a little nervous, we hope that it passes by the time we get there and the air is smoke free. Thank you for the recommendations, both films have been on my radar for quite some time but with your recommendation that is the push I needed to actively check them out so thank you. Australian Summers are brutal, it is hot no matter where you are in the country. I live by the Coast so I get tonnes of humidity, I am excited to be heading to America to cut this Summer short. We're hoping to see snow when we head to New York because for us it's a rare sight. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen snow in person haha.
@@kaneeddy I'm in Newark, NJ, just a few miles from NYC and it has been *cold* here lately. Most days in the 30's Fahrenheit with Even with that cold, we really hardly ever see much snow ourselves, which is a shame. So, bring a jacket!
Today's also a payday for me so I may get a bottle of champagne to enjoy your show with. Good luck with the broadcast:) Civil War is going to sweep and win every major award, right?
Really good video!

I’ve been so excited to eventually check this out, as soon as it becomes available for me I’ll see it. Thank you for the recommendation.
The snubbing of the apprentice conclave and a real pain is crazy

Fair enough I just loved those performances
I’m hoping Jeremy strong gets the oscar

Thank you I hope it turns out OK, I spent a very long time editing the whole thing.
@@kaneeddy It'll be fine, I'm sure:) Can't wait to see what your selections are; I trust they'll be more interesting than the recent SAG awards!
