Ronda is a city in the Spanish province of Malaga in Andalusia. It is located on the top of a mountain above a deep gorge. This gorge, called El Tajo, separates the New City, built in the 15th century, from the Old City, founded under Moorish rule. Puente Nuevo is a stone bridge across the gorge, which offers views of the surrounding area. One of the city's most recognizable landmarks is the legendary Plaza de Toros bullring, built in the 18th century.
