Studio One continues time and time again to up the game. This is another brilliant and simple addition to workflow that I'll be putting into use immediately. Thank you Presonus!
Great feature Joe.... Love it and will be using it always.... Can you also make a video on zooming, the way you do coz I cannot zoom with the smoothness that you have while zooming....?
There's a reason I love this program so much, and prefer it to all the other daws. The constant enhancements are amazing, and coupled in with this VERY active YT channel with constant free tutorials from Gregor and Joe... it's just awesome.
This feature is amazing and is definitely a QoL for people working with big templates/track counts. It's also in Logic Pro, which is one of the reasons I like using that.
@@eliaszerano3510 yeah true, but I think it's just a design decision by Presonus, as they like to keep all their windows and content on the screen snappy and instant, instead of having animations that could slow things down. I don't mind it either way... Some people like transitions in UI and some dont, i have seen people turn off animations on their phones to make things go faster. It's all preference.
I've noticed that when you are in Zoom mode, you can't slide beyond the "zoom zone" in the Editor. Once you realize what's going on, it makes perfect sense, but it did have me confused for a minute. Not a glitch - but it might be worth mentioning in an introduction. (If you did mention it, my apologies.... I don't recall hearing it...) That said - I love this feature!
Amazing upgrade! Is there any sight on a 'lock track height' feature? Zooming with magicmouse/trackpad changes the size constantly and is extreme sensitively...
I like it a lot, but for the piano roll it should zoom the midi event, and not to the notes only, cuz I do this to stretch midi notes it leaves me no real estate to do so. But its a great addition :)
You can do that already. Just click on the arrow next to the name in the title/tab of a plug-in and select "Rename". Works with native Studio One plug-ins as well as third-party plug-ins.
OK... what gives?? Upgraded to 6.2, but I am NOT seeing the Auto Zoom button... Checked all the submenu's... I'm stumped!! Is there a setting that needs to be switched? Why am I not seeing this Auto Zoom icon...?
Are you on Pro*? It's next to the question mark (help) button and it might not look like in the screen because it changes according to your selection, here in the video is selected zoom vertically and horizontally) the zoom only Verticall/Horizontally looks different and of course never highlighted once you open because you haven't clicked on it yet. *I don't know if it's a Pro only feature, since I'm not using Artist today.
@@rene-pedersen-music BINGO!!! Problem solved!! Turns out once I got rid of the "scratch pad" off my Tool Bar, the Auto Zoom icon appeared... Old dog... new trick..!!! LOL
Can you please tell me how to remove the Empty space in the overall Grid that is left after all audio events / tracks and after the final "END" marker? Sometimes S1 automatically increases the length of the project (and the entire project grid) if you drag some Audio track/event to the right. Thus, the space and length of the project becomes much larger/longer than the song itself. I can't find anywhere HOW to remove the empty space in S1 that remains after all my songs / after all my audio tracks / audio events. I need the Project Grid to be exactly from the beginning of the song to the end. Thanks for any help.
It would be amazing if there was the option so the playback would stop at the end marker if enabled instead of having to put another mark to use it as a stop playback marker.

It will be faster to return to FL STUDIO 21 to have the comfort working in transparent graphic interface, than waiting for next update of an update of Studio One 6 to have these "events" more visible. In newest FL STUDIO 21 has big improvement in sound quality... it was the issue where I moved from FL STUDIO 20 to STUDIO ONE 5. If there is no changes in visibility of interface in SO 6, the thicker lines in midi events, not black dull waveforms, "transparent grid" etc as it is in FL21, there would be no advantage to move to Studio One. PRESONUS just check the graphic interface and visibility in FL STUDO 21 you can see clearly what is going on... in Studio One the project looks still a as dull boring mess, where you feel confused.
What an incredibly essential feature I never knew I needed! It's such an intuitive yet game-changing addition. Kudos to the team for this update! 🙌🎵
NIce feature! Maybe on the next update consider implementing the hand grab tool just like in FL and Reaper for a better session navigation.

Very cool!!!! I've already set it up with the keyboard shortcut "Z".!!!
Great feature! I've always wanted this, but didn't even realize I wanted it.
Worth mentioning that Auto Zoom is available in the Editor window as well. Try this while recording audio...
I like the new Zoom feature. Can you zoom to curser and have it centered on the view? Like hitting the key "E" repeatedly, but centered.
Brilliant, and options for people. Very nice! Thanks for sharing, Joe!
Aaaand you have a lot of notifications 👀
Yep, it's much better this way. thanks team

You can change even transparency. Sounds like you just don’t understand S1
FL 21 has better sound quality?😮😮 u saying DAWs have different sound qualities under the same pan law, sample rates and bit depth? 😮😮
