Disclaimer: We have updated the video title to "GMAT 740, 2 Years of Prep, No Prep Courses......". In the earlier title, it was mentioned that the prep was completed in "2 Months" which was a mistake. Neither Vu has made any such claim nor have we mentioned it in the video description. It was just a typing mistake and not an attempt to portray that this success was achieved in 2 months.
Thanks very much for sharing your GMAT prep experience and valuable takeaways with future GMAT students. It was pleasure to have you on our RUclips platform.
This only confirms that we can have very different learning styles and struggle with different issues as far as the Gmat is concerned. Each person’s journey with the GMAT is unique. I feel intimidated when I see titles like 740 in 2 months, which is also not true in this case! You guys probably need to come up with more creative and less intimidating titles because even if this is about the score, the journey matters as much. I am not interested in knowing about someone who scored 750 in two months because that sounds unrealistic to me but I am interested to hear a story like Vu’s because that is inspiring and I can learn from it. Thank you Vu, thank you Gmat Club and YES we would love to hear more GMAT self study stories.
Thank you @houdasrhir3216. I definitely agree with you: my "two months of prep' was indeed my final push to get that 740, but that two-month-period would have been impossible without my first year of miserable failure.
@houdasrhir3216, thanks for your comment and glad to know you liked the session. Mentioning "2 Months" in the title was a mistake, not an intentional move. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. We have updated the title with '2 Years of Prep".
I can relate to what he is saying . I think I am currently facing the same issue of being in a rush. Thanks for the video , it has motivated me to retake the gmat .
I don't understand how the title can say "2 month of prep" if he wasted a year studying, I don't even think we can call it a waste because he did learn something in that year when he was investing in the prep. The final score of 740 comes as a result of that one "wasted" year as well.
Totally agree with you. I attributed my final score to all of my mistake I made in the first year. Without that period of struggling and feeling demoralizing, I doubt I would even cross the 700 mark.

It was a mistake which we have corrected. Thanks for the comment and hope you enjoyed Vu's GMAT story.
