Thanks for doing this review it helps me decide on saving and wait little more on buying the ips version koorui though its kind of pricey but saves me a lot in a long run.
i love the Optix monitors. Definitely a good choice.
oof, that smearing is bad, welp there goes my faith in buying this monitor now lol. good thing I saw your video before buying. thanks for the video!
btw, what fps are you getting the smearing? Because I've read that the smearing can be really noticeable on 120hz above.
If I wanted to play on 120fps is this monitor not good enough? Is the smearing that bad?
I have zero issues with this monitor on my Xbox series X.
Play with the FPS filter on. And don’t turn on anything extra like HDR. I play apex mainly and resident evil 4 at the moment.
A lot of games also have motion blur built in. You can turn it off in the display settings.
As far as brightness and contrast goes that’s up to your personal preference. I also like my colors to pop a bit. So my brightness is all the way up but idk about my contrast
Va panel and black smearing doesn't go together
The ghosting problem is very easy to see on most VA panels. But we should not expect too much with this price hhhha. Anyway, good video, very patient, bro~
The best VA panel is 1440p 240hz like the one used in samsung odyssey g7, absolutely no smearing and super high quality contrast ratio.
I bought a 32 inch VA 1440p 240hz monitor for $230 from a chinese site and it was on par with the G7, absolutely no smearing at all.
oh no, the smearing. i almost impulse buy this monitor, might just wait for the IPS version to restock
Bruh I've been waiting for the ips to restock for about a month now, don't think its gonna restock soon
Try Koorui 24e3, IPS panel, very good color
@@Riccccccc Try Koorui 24e3, IPS panel, very good color
My only complain is the black smearing. Difficult to see enemies during gunfigt.
Would games normally locked to 120 hz on consoles like series x be fine and less noticeable?
In summary, is the monitor bad or good? Considering his price. I am planning buy the curve version.
The monitor is good for the price but is half the experience of an IPS panel, it is useable but not amazing like the 300-400$ options and up, in conclusion it is good enough but still feel like you're getting great value brand from Walmart versus the real brand
can you turn the monitor to vertical 90?
Sadly the monitor is in a fixed position and cannot rotate, but it can tilt up and down like normal
Can I get 120fps 1440p on series s with this monitor?
Honestly I'm not too sure because I don't have any consoles, I'm sorry but thank for you watching and commenting! 😁
Does it support 1440p with 120fps like on a game like Fortnite or warzone on ps5 at the same time?
Honestly I'm not too sure because I don't have any consoles, I'm sorry but thank for you watching and commenting! 😁
I have another monitor that has some smear, but when I activated Overdrive in the monitor settings, the smear went away. Does this monitor have Overdrive in the settings?
This monitor does have overdrive and I was using it, sadly still so much smearing in games with dark rooms/caves/night time
@@EpicTechVR awe, that's ok, my vision isn't great anyway and I hardly notice it. Thanks!
get the hp omen 1440p 165hz ips display. its amazing
The omen will have me saying oh man 🤣
I was planning to buy this since it is really affordable and also it's 2k but I lost faith now 🫠
I don't want to spend a lot I was planning to buy Gigabyte m27f but thought 1080p on a 27 inch was big downside.
I really don't know what to go for being on a budget
Look at 1080p for LG ultragears or samsungs 24-27 inch
