Honestly anything 144Hz-240Hz, 1440p, and VA-IPS-OLED, at 1ms Latency, and at least 400 nits+ is all you need for a monitor.

@@GewelRealI agree sometimes VA is significantly worse than IPS. ghosting in black scenarios. planets in no man sky on the black background are ghosting when you move your mouse and its clearly visible on almost every VA monitor

The monitor looks fine. I am an IPS guy myself, but for years I had (still have it, just not using it) a 40 inch 4K VA panel monitor and for the most part it's details that you can even completely miss if you are not looking for them. I also had another VA panel, but that was even further back (2006 IIRC) so not really a fair comparison.

Considering I’m getting tired of using a 4k tv at 43inches this video helps a lot thanks again ^v^ also again hope your channel goes further. Stuck with a gtx 1660 super tho sadly so most games can’t run 4k at even 30fps, also I highly recommend trying control by remedy as a benchmark game for every gpu it’s very intensive especially on my 1660 super, there’s also a mod that adds ultra wide and better rtx sampling counts so I’d recommend trying it out if ever possible anyways have a great day wherever your time zone is or night who knows.

@rahathahmed7096 I got the benq mobiuz ex2710q. And it's amazing once you turn off eye care and put it on hdri game mode you can adjust the settings til you get the perfect balance. There is a nice weight to the stand and screen it's real quality craftsmanship. I'm so happy with it . I got from amazon UK for £219.99 . Hope this helps 🙏

Definitely. I have 34 Ultra wide version from koorui and its absolutely amazing. HDR is faboulous, the display is great, colors are accurate. Incredible considering it cost me only 415€.
Just picked this up used on fb marketplace for quite a good price. Thanks to this video I feel reassured that I made a good choice for my first gaming setup

Well, Koorui is essentially HKC, the third-largest display manufacturer in China, the one who made the panels for ASUS, MSI, etc. It is only natural that they can have a bit more control over the pricing. Just see the other latest video of 24-inch 1080p Ips monitor, Koorui 24E3, very good,,,

I bought this panel, watching this video right now to look back at the settings you were using, and I have a couple things to say about this panel that are a bit contradictory to what is stated here in this video. This monitor has pretty bad black smearing. It's far more noticeable and common (at least in apex) than what is made out to be in this review. It's noticeable when scrolling the web too, which is more annoying to me than in games (i'm not a competitive gamer so I don't really care). Ghosting however is barely noticeable on this monitor which is a big positive for how cheap this panel is. The other thing I wanted to state, is that, Koorui at some point decided to make this a 165hz panel. I don't know why. Every where i have seen this panel, the description is 144hz including in this video but mine is 165hz. Not sure when this happened or why, and it could also be the reason why there is a discrepancy between what is said in this video about smearing and the model that I am currently using. Idk, it's not the worst panel but you definitely are getting what you pay for with this monitor. I'm debating on sending it back
Edit: Before I returned his monitor I was able to tame the black smearing to be negligible in games, however it was still pretty bad scrolling online so I ended up returning it. If you can fix the black smearing, this monitor might work for you but if that kinda thing is an issue to you then buy a more expensive curved monitor like a Dell or Alienware

Really Nice Video. The Monitor Is Great i have seen people they have an RTX 4090 and Play Minecraft at 1080P without shader And i Ask me why they play at 1080P. I have a 4070 Ti and a R7 7800X3D and i play at 3440x1440 i have an Aoc Monitor i don't know the Model but it costs 320 dollars or something. I am really happy with this Monitor. It's a really good experience

I bought 2 27E6QC ... and i received it today. I'm really impressed for the moment... I don't understand why my left monitor doesn't have the same menu that the right: Koorui menu vs Koorui Gaming menu but it's the same monitor. In addition, if u plug a great DP cable (8.1 Gbps x 4), the monitor can output a fake 4K resolution (downscale in 2k)... The second is in 2k and it can't outpout 4k (5.4 Gbps x 4).... With my cable, my right monir is in 10-bits color and with standard cable (received with the screen), the monitor is in 8-bits color. IDK if is the cable or GPU but it's weird xD
A last things... My left monitor is in 143.995 Hz and right 144 Hz ... Why ???
I wonder if one is an old unit and one new. I wonder if they updated this monitors video board. Both HDMI ports support 4K signal downscaled to 1440p at 60FPS and 1440p at 120hz!
But I cannot get VRR working on this display and the PS5, but it works fine in the XSX.
Also my OSD is red and in the middle of the screen not the bottom bar like his.
I wish you showed the ufotest on this monitor at different overdrive settings, so that all of us can see exactly how much motion blur the monitor has

@@zWORMzGaming aw..for ufotest you're supposed to match the camera speed with the speed of the moving objects, so if you got a phone or something with decent quality then that'll work perfectly! I appreciate that my comment has been acknowledged
Monitor is currently 140$ even if it isn't perfect, for 140, 1440p and 144hz with fressync, its a steal.

How did you get this monitor to run 1440p at 120hz on series X? I haven’t been able to solve this issue in months while using the hdmi cable the series X came with, any help would be much appreciated!
@@hypebeastgreekfreak7852 I didn’t have to do anything special! Make sure the free sync stuff is enabled on the monitor itself as well. Also you may have to use hdmi 2. Mine works with 1 and 2 but my model seems newer.

Just purchased this monitor on Amazon on sale right now for $143 in the US. It will be a second monitor for sims to go along with my 34 inch ultrawide. If it's a decent monitor I may get another to put on the other side of my ultrawide.

Koorui is from HKC. HKC makes the panels for Acer, MSI, etc.

This recently popped up in a couple of stores in Egypt and was worried about a lot of stuff when it comes to colour accuracy، motion handling but this really sold me on it.
If its for gaming only go for it, if you do stuff that rely on color accuracy like editing(photoshop, design, etc) , maybe you can save up to buy a better monitor😉

Gpu recommendations for this monitor I’d give a 3060TI a 3070/TI (go for what is cheaper with 3070/TI) 4060TI 4070 from AMD Radeon 6700XT 6700 Radeon 7700XT 7700 and of cause anything above these could do just as good a job if not better but more for 4K anything above these cards (There could be good results with lower cards but I only know these ones good enough to recommend them)

I use an i5 13600K , 32GB DDR5 and an RTX 4080 as my main rig, and for the monitor I have an LG C2 OLED 42"
DisplayCal will show you the contrast ratio. Use Tools/Report On Uncalibrated Display. I don't know if it requires enabling advanced menu options.

I bought a LG 27GR75Q-B 1440p 165hz monitor and it was a whole mess. It hat lots of flickering lots of tearing lots of strange glitches etc. I’m gonna return it and get this one from koorui. I hope this one will be fine I just wanna play normally I don’t need nothing too crazy. Great video as always.

@@kalebsherwood3484 Hi, yes I got it on October 19th and using it since then and it is doing great. No weird glitches no weird flickering no tearing like the LG one. The colours are really good and the response time is great too (you can choose in the settings from normal to fast to fastest). Overall it is a very good monitor for the price and I will never buy something ever again just for the "Brand".
You should take a look at the KTC H27T22, im curious of that Monitor 🤔

Not the case! This is an rgb pannel, some VAs have that issue because they're bgr instead of rbg.

How did you enable overdrive? My monitor menu looks different. Is it just response time to "fastest"? I do not see an overdrive option anywhere!

Before your model there was one with blue accents on the back, so I'm guessing that they are taking the feedback from content creators and reviews then making a new batch of the same model with a few upgrades.
I got this monitor and set the RGB to your specs but what did U choose for brightness and wich of the 2 gamma settings did U use? How far did U go down with the slider in windows color calibration?

I have currently lenovo 27 inch 165hz 1440p va monitor my last monitor was 1080p tn monitor and i can say its huge diffrence in detail and colors are way better on va panel than tn
What does ghosting and black smearing mean? Is it really really bad? Or a big deal?
@@dravenvictoria307 if you mainly play competetive games it could be big issue. cheap va monitors usually have bad ghosting i recommend watching review before buying new monitor

Can you really not run 120 fps 1440p on the ps5 with this monitor?? It seems like the best budget monitor but i’ve seen reviews and apparently you can’t run 120fps or 1440p on the ps5 despite having the console on performance mode. Kind of annoying but does anyone know ?

I've heard many complaints about ghosting on VA panels but it's not noticeable like, AT ALL.
