I wonder what a Philip Guston would look like given the Franz West treatment?

Guston once described the act of painting for him was like a blind man in a dark room shaping some clay. It was more of a physical act of shaping something with ones hands, and also like it was having ones hands inside mattress I think. There is a sense in which he has captured a mental state and given it a kind of lumpy coherence in the everyday dimension of our attention, so looking at those thought forms emerging out of those dripping paint tins made me think of Guston and what he might have done@@artefuse
