Great video. Snow, rain, sleet will not keep the PrimeTime Treasure Hunter from his mission.
I sound like the post office. Lol
Lol funny when that guy was looking up comps
Daisy is adorable. Man's best friend for sure.
She sure is! 🐶👍
Lovely video and fascinating to see snow in the suburbs and the interesting American architecture you have there. You must be very skilful at putting items back in the box such as the hot wheels set.
Glad you enjoyed it! The box parts were pretty easy to pull out and get back in.
I subscribed and like because you took the time to share your learning and wisdom. I am over 60 ,,,, Still live and breathe in Alaska.,,,,, again .. I did learn much from your time. ,,,, Thank 4 ur time. No need to reply ,,,, I don’t…. ! !!!
Love estate sales-- when I am on my own. I have a friend who only looks for one type of thing (he collects and does not resell) and even after we wait an hour in line he will just about run through the house and be done before I've hardly started in one room. Last day of a sale is prime time for my treasure hunting, and frankly the last hour has pretty much been stellar, too. Got chills when you found those old history books, though they weren't our exact texts. I could smell the pages when you flipped through them. Saw so much in that basement of the House Sale, I would have filled 3 boxes! (but I also have a small shop that I would sell them in). BTW Winnie the Pooh w/o the red shirt is PRE-DISNEY. I sold a nursery rug at my shop that dated to the 1920s. Really loving your channel and the thrill of the hunt! Thanks for posting!
Awesome finds, I personally love estate sales. Sometimes you find sometimes you don't but the rush keeps you going. Defitnetly like your picks 👍 thanks for great content it has helped a lot!
Thanks! They are my total fave!
Ohmigoodness!! Sooo many things I love about this video!! Butterfly light shout out! That was cool seeing where it came from! 🦋 the granny room!! Bahaha 😂 I got the BEST laugh all week from that one 🙈 and you’re soooo right!! I’d freakin LOVE that room!!! 😍😍😍 solid gold!! It was hilarious the guy looking up comps and how you edited it!! Priceless!!! You found so many good things! I do have a question. Sometimes I see little things maybe dust flying around in the videos - do you ever wear those mouth & nose masks? Just curious if it is as bad in person as the camera picks up. Makes for a very cool basement hunt!! Kind of like a scary movie 🙈 those tracks are amazing! Can’t wait to see when it sells & the amount you get! 🙌🏻 happy Sunday! Sales for me have been 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 so I’ve been a little discouraged - this video gave me the motivation I needed! ❤️ seeing you succeed is exciting!! 👍🏻
Also!!! Daisy!!!!! 🐶❤️🐶❤️🐶❤️
Jessy B knew you’d love all that. You’re becoming an official part of the channel. Lol
Thanks Jessy. I just upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro and the camera is much more sensitive. This was the first time I saw it pick up dust but yes, if it’s really bad like the Star Wars haul video and I’ll be down there a long time I will wear a mask. Sales were slow for me this week too so just keep on chugging away, diversifying your inventory, adjusting prices, and making offers to watchers. It will turn around. Glad to give you some laughs. I was worried the video may not be too interesting.
Nice finds thanks for sharing 👍❤️
i Love watching your videos i picked up a car radio because it looked old cleaned it up a little found out it was old 1970s VW radio went for a hundred bucks would have thought it was trash if it wasn't for your videos thank you
Great to hear, Colin. Great pick up!
Take PT with you one of these days.
I’ll plan a trip with him this spring. Lol
Precious puppy love! 💕
Nice scores, I always enjoy estate sale videos.
Thank you!
Excellent post! Really like the way you format your post(s)- very helpful for all, new or experienced. Found you via Don's channel-Auction Professor) & glad we did. Tips on "getting down low", box bottoms, bsmts etc- great stuff to teach folks. Thanks for your time, will be checking out your other posts, definitely will be sharing the channel as well~ Dan & Sammy
Thanks Dan and Sammy! Glad the tips helped and welcome to the Prime Time family.
Another great video - thanks. I always enjoy seeing what new things you find at these estate sales. I benefited from your knowledge the other day I pick up 14 Pathfinder Role playing hardcover books for a $1 each and made all my money back and more on the first one that sold. Thanks for all you do for the rest us.
That’s great! 🙌
Very cool finds!
Thanks!
You already had a use for the mini screwdriver set .. Wedge out the cassette tape.
Lol. I could have done that with the screwdriver I already had but had no need. That thing was busted.
Hey Dom great video as always. Can I make a suggestion for a future video? How about showing the ad for the estate sale prior to you going? Maybe point out what interests you in the listing, etc. Then show us what in reality you found vs. what the ad showed. I know many estate sales only show the best of the best in the ads but not the stuff you have to dig through. I think it would be a great learning opportunity for your viewers. I know you did something like this a while back with the "lemonade stands at garage sales" video.
Yes, I’ve thought of that. Would have to alternate between phone and desktop recording which is the main issue. I may just do a show one day comparing some saved ads with vids.
Great haul and good tips buddy!
Thanks Jacob!
got that "Champs" newspaper framed!
Awww Daisy
She said she likes your name! 🐶
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter thanks Daisy lol

I would have grabbed those Nancy Drew and series books. in the box with the books you took. I always have lots and single copies going.

I'm going to have to completely agree with you last weekend we sent to the LAST day of the Estate sale and I got an old cigar box for nothing and it sold not even 24hrs later for 51.99 I wonder how many ppl walked right by it?
Lots. People are always leaving treasures behind. Great pick up!
Big Daisy Fan woof

Great video
Thanks Misty!
Wheat Paste is wallpaper paste👍👌
Well I’ll be! Thanks. Learn something new every day!
purple ribbon on the Jets hat is for domestic violence awareness. Yay!
True! Thanks for pointing that out!
Oh man, you really make me miss NY. I'm from Brooklyn originally. I'm now I'm Texas. Question. What are your estate sales listed as where you get to rummage through all of that stuff? My estate sales out here are sterilized. Either they move the sale off-site which means they pick out most of the stuff beforehand or they don't open attics, bathrooms etc. (There's no basements in Texas). How do I find estate sales that are more rummage than sterilized for 'antiques'?
I look in the papers classifieds, Craigslist and estate sales dot net. If no basements, check attics first. The more rummaging ones are in more economically depressed areas.
Ha.....money towel. I travel with my Ouija towel :)
Ha. Did you see the recent video where Pink Panther held a sign up saying hello to you? Lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I did not notice that or haven't watched that one yet :(
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter Only one I haven't watched is the estate sale failure......I believe I got through all the other recent ones. I'll be on it :)
Carl Bach that’s the one! Lol
How do you find out about estate sales? Awesome history book. I had one of those history books.
That is very ironic I just picked up the vocabulary books yesterday from a recycle bin, great minds think all like, lol or it could be just coincidence, lol
I’ll go with the great minds think a lot option. Lol
Do you have a special technique negotiating? Most estate sales I go to are not really keen about making any sort of deals
Buying in bulk is the best way to make deals simply because you’re buying a lot of stuff so the price hoes down. I find that having a good relationship with the estate sale dealer helps a lot too. I do have a playlist suction on my channel about negotiations
I sold that set once. Does it have the cars?
Supposed to come with 2 cars but I don’t see them. Fortunately, they are replaceable and as I’m looking into thus more I may make more just piecing all of this out.
Prime Time Treasure Hunter you could but collectors are going to want the box. I had the cars with mine and I sold it for $125 but your box is in better shape. I would think about pricing it at $150 without the cars. Those sizzlers cars aren’t really that valuable. They aren’t redlines.
Wade Sakalsky right. Maybe I’ll start at $175. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙌
Wade Sakalsky yes, good points. Thanks!
You passed up the vintage towels.... 😭😭
Where? lol
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter in the old lady room!
Jenny Silveira gonna have to look into that. I know nothing about vintage towels except tea towels.
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter there is a definite niche of vintage kitsch collectors that love vintage towels and sheets in bright colors and florals (even oranges). The right patterned towel can fetch good money!
Jenny Silveira thanks! Learning from viewers as well!
Were the sellers at the first estate sale just charging per box (container) or did they just think it was junk?
The widow just wanted it all gone so she was practically giving stuff away.
I've been using your advice for a while now, GO TO THE BOTTOM! Works great in thrift stores too.
Sure does!
It's easy to test Flight Sticks, look up how to test Flight Sticks on RUclips.
I mean testing them at the estate sale
@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter oh okay
