That 5 cylinder sounds great, but wish you could hear more of it though. The actual noise is amazing but it still sounds quite muted for a sports car. I wish it was 10-15% louder.

I ordered the same color, almost the same options ceramic brake, flat steering wheel (the correct one), head up display, interior and exterior carbon package including the engine, without the sunroof because it affects the dynamics of the mass (few people know this) on curves (70 kg extra on the roof), 360 degree video camera trunk with automatic opening, etc. I don't understand how some people can say it's just a one-day color 🤣. I had ///M3 about the same iconic color. In 10 years, I haven't been bored of the color and the car for a single day 😏

For instance, some rat-rods have supercar characteristics, yet they are far from what I would consider a "supercar". Whereas, some supercars have qualities that are sorely lacking for their respective category. I think the definition of "supercar" is one that will be debated in perpetuity. Stay classy my friends.

As evidence, I currently own an M2 and will be trading it on my RS3 when it arrives in a few weeks. They're extremely similar in price, horsepower etc. The 240i actually competes against the S3, not the RS3

FINALLY LETS GOOOOOOOO The RS3 can do a lot better ofcourse 0-60 (all of which were in Dynamic mode which is what it should have been in vs Performance mode) I have a 2019 RS3 and have done 3.4 seconds, this one can do around 3.1-3.3. One of my buddies did a quarter mile time of 11.34 seconds 100% stock in the 2022 RS3, it's an insane car to say the least

Hey Miles I purchased the 2022 m240i in part based on your review. Cancelled my M2 deposit as it was not released with AWD and now considering my next car. Owned 2 S4s and a Q5 so I’m basically an Audi guy that diverted to BMW. Love the m240 except it’s in the shop a lot with door locking and sunroof issues. My Audis were rarely in the shop. The 2024 Rs 3 looks like a major step up in fun factor but a step down in creature comforts and interior cabin. Have you, or will you drive the 2024 Rs 3? Any thoughts on my observations and advice. Btw you were helpful in my decision to pull the plug on the m2 purchase. Thanks

I have nothing bad to say about the ZL1 other than early years have oil pump failures and interior is pretty clunky. Overall build quality of RS3 is better and engine uses ZERO oil but ZL1 is a torque monster
Does the US don’t get the Q3 or the Cupra Formentor? Cause yes, the TT in general (and so the TT RS) is discontinued, but in Europe you can still buy the fivecylinder with the Audi RS Q3 and, from 2021 to 2023, with the Cupra Formentor VZ5 (which I actually own).
I find it hard to believe that people would really buy the sedan version of this more than the hatchback version. Why would anyone want less cargo room and worse looks? They should've brought the hatch version to the US
The type of person that drives an Audi would _never_ consider a hatchback. That is why Volkswagen exists. Previous GTI and GLI owners are merely future Audi drivers. Audi already knows this being a subsidiary of VW Group and they market accordingly. It all boils down to the level of maturity. VW -> Audi -> Porsche. This is the road map (pun intended) for the Volkswagen Group of automakers. Stay classy my friend.
Are you able to drive and compare the RS3 to the RSQ3? I’m very interested in the RSQ3 as a one vehicle for a mature couple . I get some performance my wife gets the SUV driver experience???
really wish cooled seats were as common as heated seats tbh. i want to get this car next but coming from a forte gt2 that some how had cooled seats at less than half the price makes no sense. youd think an rs line would have them
Is there a slight rasp to the note at full throttle(coming from engine bay) Mine happens after 3500 rpm.. Or sounds more, raw, when it "opens up".. Bout 600 miles, hit 3500 in 3rd(after shifting from 4700 in 2nd) at about 85% throttle and it started sounding different. Have hit 4700 prior with no noise like this. Don't know if it's just breaking in. I know not to full throttle first 1000 miles and to stay below 2/3rds redline. Have been keeping it under that but noticed a change in the engine sound tonight in higher rpms
Supra is much cheaper and can deliver similar driving fun, but it’s also less practical and doesn’t sound nearly this good. Tough call. I might go Supra Manual and put the extra cash towards a set of track tires and track day entry fees
Looks like a great car. I do own a A3. Love the car. Stereo system with the B&O is out of this world. Unfortunately I will not buy another Audi again. About 50k miles engine parts started to fail. Replacement parts continue to fail. Really disappointed. And it’s not cheap even using a local excellent mechanic.
Prior to Audi Canada coming out with the news that the new RS3 wouldn't be coming here (at the time I was told due to chip shortages) I had actually put down a deposit for a pre-order on this exact one same color same everything and then afterwards I learned of the disappointing news :( I'm hoping it will end up coming here in the future though "fingers crossed"

70 grand for a car there should be leather everywhere standard. My Lexus gs had leather and soft touch everywhere. Even on the bottom of the door. It’s a 40 grand base price….
Give it a few years and it will be way lower. Only a fool would buy a BRAND NEW German car. My 2017 A6 retailed for nearly $60k (according to the original window sticker), got it June of last year for $28k.

I'm all for weird colors but you have to a true supercar to pull off green or yellow in my book. Picking up mine in red this weekend

The AWD system is what Mitsubishi did on EVO's 20 years ago. Still cannot compete with that. But great car alround.

Well not really equal…. it is a FWD car not rear biased AWD. It has the same macpherson strut suspension as an A3 and has a turbo power curve….

luckily for you, you can get it with the essentials for $65k. The only real competitor is the CLA 45 which is slightly more expensive.

I did 265 squared on my previous gen rs3 and the rear rubs. The fenders are literally wider in front then rear which is so cool and different/quirky
That would probably introduce a lot of understeer.
