Should or would is irrelevant imo, I switch hands when baitcasting>retrieving but not with a spinning gear. I like that the best and been doing it for decades coming from a time when spinning reels were left cranked and baitcasters right. It just works and cranking a BC with my left feels odd.

If you turn on the AMB system in a correct way, it never backlash. The AMB system automatically adjusts the brakes depending on the speed of the spool. Four discs rotate out for more braking power. As the spool slows down, one pair retracts, decreasing the magnetic brake force. As the spool slows down further, the other pair of discs retract.With the KastKing AMB system angler can cast farther and never worry about backlashes.
I will tell you nothing is ever truly bullet proof, or water proof, there’s a whole lot of submarines on the bottom of the ocean. So if you say something is not sinkable or backlash proof, someone out there will absolutely find a way to backlash it. This reel is incredible and GREATLY and I mean GREATLY reduces backlash. If you’re half decent with a Baitcaster you just became awesome! If you aren’t good at all with a Baitcaster - you now have a Baitcaster you can use!

Or you can use a left handed reel . That way your hand never leaves the crank handle . Thus giving you instant connection .

I agree. Learned to crank with my recessive hand so my dominant hand strikes with the rod.

You learn to use them.Way better than spinning reels.I rarely ever get a backlash anymore.

Why use right hand reeling on cast reels when you're right handed when you can just get a left hand reel and not switch hands over? Be smarter.
