I don't proclaim to be a genius-far from it. But if Steve Jobs "created" a business model that capitalized off of music, doesn't that mean he "created" something. He used his creative abilities to create the platform Apple Music.
Business is an art too. Ironically, Dame is a bit self contradicting. He himself said in the beginning of the interview that he "created" the system (i.e., Rocafella Records) that served as the platform on which Jay-Z built his rap career. Yet Dame wasn't himself a rapper. To borrow his words, he had a certain "super power" and Jay-Z had a specific "super power." They came together to create an entity.
In short, Dame was Rocafella's Steve Jobs.
If i had to guess i would say Jay is good at selling what exists. Dame can create something that don't.
