Thanks - since I like flight siming it never bugs me some of these huge ships require calm departures but taking something like that out of the hanger with the sun setting like that, I was in no rush to ruin the beauty.
All the best for 2023! Looking forward to more DCS content as it's my main focus...Finally got the Viper and eyeing the Viggen! As for 3.18....I am amazed they didn't force it out pre-break, that was a shocker! I just hope they keep it in ptu until it is actually stable, no matter how long it takes! Can't wait to fly my Vulture when they eventually move past wave 1!
Yea, that is why I mentioned it like I did. CIG had three options as I saw it: release early, don't release at all - or what they did - and that is keep working it through the "break." They deserve kudos for doing so.
And as for the Viper, I am really enjoying it so far... She is a slick beast, like a little Hotrod on steroids! Tricky to land, not used to having to caress the runway. Used to slapping it down like it's the hand of Smith and the runway is the cheek of Rock. The Hornet is far easier in that area!
3.18 been a mix of challenge/enjoyment/lots of suffering , but i feel that the quickest cashcow of the game at least for now, are the numerous vultures "abandoned" in the L1s , as the game crashes for those players and you can "find" those ships and "claim" their ship scraped cargo with a respectable size ship between 40 to 120 SCUs.
Not really. I give my Patreon supporters the choice of what I give away as a perk of supporting the channel, but in part too because they're ultimately the ones paying for the giveaway. It's a chance to be involved in the production.
3.18 holds the promise of bug fixes for me. 3.17 has been quite broken, and for much of the PU's 2022 outings, I've basically just opted to sit most of it out. And that leads to a bit of frustration at this point. I'd _like_ to get back into the PU again, but I'm waiting for 3.18 to be able to do that and with the floating release target drifting further into 2023 all I can really do is to throw my hands up and head back to _Guild Wars 2._
Hello man, i'm new to the channel. Great video. Just want to say that at the moment the Reclaimer is actually more worth than a vulture even if you solo. you can make almost double the profit per hour of the vulture cause of the small cargo of the vulture. Only downside is that you are paying with your own mental sanity (by walking from and to the salvage hangar xD)
Welcome to the channel! Yes the Reclaimer is solo-able. It just isn't efficient enough IMO. There's going to be people who still do it, I've been doing it.
Looking forward to your coverage of SC and Medieval Dynasty. The every other week schedule will provide a work life balance and keep you fresh and interested in releasing content without it becoming a chore. Cheers!
From the moment my kids started crawling, my video gaming time gradually dwindled, and it stays that way for a while, until they're old enough to do their own thing and not need such hands-on attention.
@@Freshcornpop In 10 years, I've seen 2 children leave home, and mid-way through their twenties, and I've had two more, with a second marriage; they will indeed, likely have left home by the time the game is 'finished'.
I'm not impressed with the Vulture. It's a time suck, and the process is lame. After you scrape a hull and your material box fills up, you have to get up, go down a ladder, and physically move it with your anti-grav gun for it to cycle an empty box. Then climb back up and start the process over again. With the buggy behavior of getting out of the pilot seat, it just adds more time to the process. Then, once you fill it up, you have to take it to a major hub like Area 18 or Loreville, then commute in to sell it which adds even more time and you don't end up making that much. The reclaimer is a much better option. I'll stick with mining Q-rock. Way more profitable. Thanks for the viddy.
I'm looking forward to diving back into SC once 3.18 is live
I think you'll be rewarded coming back for it.
That opening shot of the Reclaimer taking off is absolutely beautiful. I would 110% be up for helping crew one.

Love the pic of Little Lead. My son and I miss snow.
3.18 has some potential for sure.
Combat logging has been fixed, best feature. You cannot escape inevitable loss now
Mandatory perk for the cargo load masters in the back of the Reclaimer is a crate full of beer and double dogs.
Just purchased a reclaimer, pretty excited to run it duo with my bro
You can keep your keybinds if you delete all files and subfolders in USER folder except the Controls folder.
You would think I would have thought of that... thanks!
If you and the legion ever need a hand on stream, I’ll be close by!
You're my guy then!

How are you liking the Viper? Viggen is awesome by the way - t/o tut should be out this month.
Oh definitely, massive kudos to them for making the right call!

@@Jakes_1-1 Yea, I'm not sure how I manage to keep landing all this time later. Love it none the less!
I agree with you on 3.18, it has a lot to offer but is not ready for prime time. This weekend has been really hard with the login issues.
Yea Friday was a good day for me with a number of things but I wouldn't be confident it's stable.

Okay now this I need to try!
We have come to a stage that we have to pay money in other to vote.
What a great world we live in😂

That reminds me I need to go do those quests... I just don't like EOD.
@@Leadnap Quests? EoD is about the Gen. 3 legendary items. 😄

just sub to channel, cant wait to see your future content, i am getting back into SC after being gone a year. Just waiting for 3.18 to drop
One of my friends asked what I have been doing, 3 kids was the answer.
Better to put out less, but better content.
Thanks - and I don't know how you do it with three!

Toddlers? So the game might be close to release by the time they are in college

Great vid
Thank you
yeah, PTU has been a pain so far
Seems like delay of 3.18 come hand in hand with 3.19.
