No mention of the Sydney Olympics??
I know!!! That's sad 😢
People were caring less about the Olympics by that time. I saw a political cartoon about it.
I just wish they made mention of Linkin Park.
Only remembered if you were from Australia.
Agreed and he forgot to mention the Air France crash. Happened in july of 2000
Thank France, the government behind it, and the people behind that government for making the Olympics suddenly insignificant.
I've been watching Since the 80s these are my favorite videos on youtube. Thank You.
This might be my favorite miniseries! Can we keep this going please?!
I've been waiting for this series to return for so long!! Thank you!! 🙏
Stoked Timeline is back baby!
Welcome back, Weird History Timeline! It's to see the 2000s covered, its my childhood/teenage era. As if sundays wasn't cool enough, it just got even better.
Looking forward to the 2001 ep!
Here are the top 10 songs of 2000, according to the Billboard singles chart:
10. He Wasn't Man Enough- Toni Braxton
9. Bent- Matchbox Twenty
8. Amazed- Lonestar
7. I Knew I Loved You- Savage Garden
6. Say My Name- Destiny's Child
5. Everything You Want- Vertical Horizon
4. I Wanna Know- Joe
3. Maria Maria- Santana featuring The Product G&B
2. Smooth- Santana featuring Rob Thomas
1. Breathe- Faith Hill
What a list of terrible music.
90% of the list having debuted and released in 1999, of course. I wish charts would go by prime releases instead of holdovers.
You ain't from NYC there not one Rap song on that list
@@Chris_Garmanagreed.
@@anthonyarcanumsanctumregnu9551The Billboard chart is a national chart.
Thank you for coming back!!!
Thank you for bringing this back. This is easily going to be the decade I am going to remember most.
Other things that happened in 2000
Jan 9 Malcolm In The Middle debuted on FOX
Jan 10 The AOL Time Warner Merger which ended up being one of the worst mergers in history
Jun 30 The Perfect Storm is released in Theatres
Dec 27 After a three and a half year retirement, Mario Lemieux returned to the NHL and on that night he scored 1 goals and got 2 assists to help the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-0
I love these Timeline-episodes, which is why I simply had to subscribe. Great to have some nice nostalgia factor in form of 30 minute long episodes to "recap" a certain year, and often a year that's quite forgotten, such as 2000 was.
New timelines, best narrator. Life is good 😂
I've been waiting for this Timeline2000's series to come out for a long time. Truly one of my favorite channels. Keep em coming. These timeline videos are so full of cool facts.
If you need more ideas, how about a timeline Bathroom Reader encyclopedia edition
Finally!!!!!
Been waiting since 1999
I'm so excited for this series.... Finished your 90's series a few days ago, perfect timing to find you 😂
Final Destination debut in theaters. 😀👍
Great movie!
@@btetschner I agree. 😀👍
@@jamesmoss3424 For my college graduation anniversary day, I watched movies that were significant when I was in college.
I watched them in this order...are you familiar with any of these movies other than Final Destination?
x Can't Hardly Wait
x Dead Man On Campus
x I Knew What You Did Last Summer
x Urban Legend
x Final Destination
x The Mummy
x The Matrix
Those movies have no monsters, ghosts or sycho pathic human unalivers, yet are scary in their own ways.
@@HeihachiMishima48 I agree. 😀👍
Finally! I have been waiting over 3 years for this video. Bless you Weird History ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
What a great series.
I’m so glad timeline is back! I’ve been rewatching the old videos like crazy!
21:04 YES NASCAR MENTIONED ON WEIRD HISTORY (although if it gets mentioned again in '01, it will be for a much sadder reason)
💛💙❤️🏁
Driving cars is not a sport.
Yeah😊. Been waiting for this series to start up again. 🎉
Timeline is my favorite thing they do
Great content!!! Hopefully the next one is already in the can
Timeline 2000s has finally arrived
Finally! Great job!
2000 was also the year of the first and only crash of the Anglo-French built Concorde which saw the beginning of the end of supersonic passenger service. All Concordes were grounded for a year for refit after the accident. Coincidentally the first test flight after refit was the morning of 9/11. In the same notion, the downward pattern in air travel subsequently led to it's retirement by its operators by October 2003.
oh man I remember that well, the last flight of Concorde was on I think 3rd November it came home here in Bristol it landed at filton air field and is now stored in hangar made specially for it
@@benconway9010 If I ever hop the pond to you guys, I definitely want to visit it. I've seen it's sister in NYC and cousin in Washington DC. Always great to see a Concorde
FINALLY!!! The timeline I’ve been waiting for
Timeline the 🐐
I can’t believe Timeline is back! Thank you!
Thank God the real narrator did this.
Legit, these videos are amazingly produced.
