I like the black lamps as the clear just get lost and it looks like the shade is floating in air LOL! The black makes a nice accent color and you can control how much black you have in your room. The black mirror’s frame with the black lamps is a nice display and compliments each item well.
I think the bed looks better in the guest room than it did in your bedroom. The black mirrors are just the right amount of black for balance. The clear lamps are perfect.

I agree on the lamps. The light touch of black on the mirrors is just enough. The black lamps were too much of a visual distraction for the centerpiece (the bed). I think some mirrors with wood framing would be the ultimate. Great video!
So glad you're re using the bed from your bedroom and it's so nice, I did like the black lamps with it though and I like the clear, the black ones would need a cushion adding that has some black pattern in. I have 4 sleeping pillows on our spare bed then 2 decorative ones.

Great job although quite frankly I liked the black lamps because they matched the frame on the mirrors and also the hardware on the night stands. I'm not really a black furniture fan but in this case it really went well the way you had them. The clear lamps leave nothing to guess because they are transparent but if you like them then it's what matters. Perhaps some black tassels draped around the neck of the lamps will take away the blah. I love your home and the way you decorate. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

America always has such nice furniture and decoe....i live in Spain and the decor in majority of the shops near me and furniture aren't great. I keep trying to to bits to our house but i'm limited with a rental and a budget. I always love the decor you do in your house. ❤
This is why I have an iRoomba he gets underneath the loveseat the sofa, the buffet everything including underneath our bed. We have hardwood floors and area carpets and there is no way at my age. I can move anything or even use a dust mop or anything to get underneath everything and I love it
It's nice to make changes & after living in your home, you can see what you want to update/move. I don't put a rug down bcuz of exactly what you said, the dust bunnies lol. I clean under it monthly.

What does everything stress this child out when she lives in a beautiful home that most of us dream of? She is pretty and young with a beautiful family. I would be in awe every time I woke up. Blessings come in many different forms. Keep up but learn not to stress out over such silly things.
I think you absolutely made the right decision with the mirrors. It is just too white without any contrast. If you want something softer, you can always replace the black with wood but definitely some contrast was needed.
I love the guest bedroom.....both style lamps look great..but think I am leaning to the clear..you can never have too many pillows lol..love the black mirrors...you have exquisite taste!!!!!!

Think you should add a pop of black on the bed like two printed pillows centered instead of those 3 small cream ones. Throws the bed off! Otherwise I’m loving your master bed in there!
One thing about it, Ashley, is when you decide you want to make changes, you and Chase get your exercises. Lol. I've found my robot vacuum does great vacuuming under my bed. And mopping. The clear lamps look better than the black. The bed looks so cozy.

I'm a bit farmhouse, coastal with a tiny pinch of modern glam. I know that sounds like a lot of different styles, but, I do believe that MOST people have more than one style taste. I wanted to ask you sort of an OT question, what's the paint color/brand in your guest bedroom? Did you paint the same color throughout your house? Believe it or not, I'm having trouble finding that "right" white. The paint on your walls in your guest bedroom looks like what I'm going for. It all looks lovely maybe try putting one of the side mirrors long ways above the bed board... But I had to laugh at the way you moved that mattress off the bed 💪...
