🖥 Computer Editing Setup =
2019 27" imac upgraded with 40gb of ram: amzn.to/3i3Vk8I
When I'm working away from home, I use a 2015 15" macbook pro with 16gb of ram - So you don't NEED the brand new fancy computer... It just speeds up the performance and snappiness of Lightroom so you're not waiting so long for previews to load or images to export etc.
Recommended laptop: 💻 13 inch S1 Macbook Pro $1249 USD www.amazon.com/dp/B08N5LLDSG?...
The new S1 Macbook Air and S1 Macbook Pros are AMAZING for photo editing and Lightroom Performance, even with their base model options With the new M1 macbooks, 8gb RAM works. With any other machine, I'd recommend going with at least 16gb of ram and 512gb of storage if you can swing it.

Just starting to plan a website. So glad this came up when I logged in. Great tips!! Thanks for sharing!
Your videos have already proven to be so invaluable. As a stay at home mom on a budget, having this kind of free education available to me from trusted photographers is just priceless. Thank you!
I'm blown away by the quality of your videos. When I inevitably succeed from implementing this golden advice I fully intend on becoming a patron.
Love it! Cant wait to hear that success story
#1 strategy I will now do - giving them something to download immediately. I am a family photog, so am thinking a guide to dressing and also keeping kids happy and having fun during the shoot (maybe mentioning to Mom to not "yell" at the kids during the shoot, the #1 thing that happens and then the twinkle in the kids' eye is gone for the rest of the shoot, maybe my fault for not providing enough instruction but I love the spontaneous moments, gotta find the balance). Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video!!
Not only is the most tips I've ever seen in one video, these tips are KILLER!
I feel like I should be paying for this level of coaching.
So glad to hear it! If you want to go deeper, you can always check out my full membership / courses :)

I'm always wondering how you can give even more assistance in your payed section. This is already so great :D
Getting close to buying your set
Wow thanks so much! Honestly the paid stuff just goes much deeper into specific tactics, and the HOW TO of executing on this stuff. Plus there are a ton of marketing & branding templates, email templates, posing guides & presets to speed things up along the way.
If I could spam "like" this video over and over again I honestly would. Thank you so much for the quality content!
OK. Good info ... and I have a question ... so, I do not do any type of party, benefit, wedding, business, or other style or type of imagery. My singular focus is to produce intriguing and unique "art photography". Barns, back doors, deteriorating steel mills & their environs, etc., etc.
It's strictly artwork. And made to hang on the interior walls of any dwelling, e.g., business foyers, offices, private homes, waiting rooms ... you get the idea, I think.
So, following that direction, how do your "9 Things" apply? Or do you have a few different things for such a list?
Have not before watched any of your videos, though I do enjoy what I have seen so far. Nice work.
TY in advance.
Hey! Late getting back to you but good question
Honestly they all apply pretty much the same. It’s been a while since I made this video so I couldn’t list the exact 9 top of my head, BUT overall…
Social proof - Testimonials about the quality of your prints, or about the service you gave a client in designing the layout of their wall gallery. Images showing the before and after of a space transformed with your art.
Logos of clients and businesses you have your art displayed at.
Stuff like that… pretty much all of them can be applied to any type of photography!
Hello, for info, the Embed video on your post says " live event is over" and no way to watch it. Links to RUclips homepage, not your channel.
Thought to type Signature edit's to find it on your RUclips channel ;)
Oh wow sorry about that Hana! Which post was it? Facebook? Email? I'm trying to figure out which link is broken so I can fix it!
Glad the video was helpful!
I had the same experience coming from the email. I, too, searched signature edits and found this.
hello! Great information. Should you copyright photos to protect?
Hey Susan! If you mean watermarks, Imo no. I dont like the feel it gives the site, and if people are trying to steal your images, they wouldnt have bought anything anyways. But that said, uploading lower res photos vs full res is a good option which prevents prints
05:05 I agree with you. What would you suggest to someone who does multiple things? One domain with subdomains, or separate domains?
I think I'd suggest looking at how well multiple things is going as a business strategy, then go from there.
It's far easier to grow ONE business than several... So if you find 50% of your revenue is coming from one style of photography, and the other 8 only make 5-10% of your income, probably you'd get better results from putting all your effort behind the ONE type, or choosing the one you most enjoy doing.
I'd make THAT the focus of the site, and then have smaller sections showcasing the other work.
Just my 2 cents!
So I went to download the tips and I knew I would have to give you my email address, which I was willing to. But then you wanted me to set up an account to get what you had promised. I left the website because at hate when a website doesn’t follow through with a promise to supply something simply. So I didn’t look at anything else you offered either. This is the same way I feel every time I keep getting another step added or another pop up trying to sell me something. So I suppose I am not your ideal customer.
Hey Stephanie! Thank you so much for this feedback - I totally get that feeling of not wanting to sign up for things. I didn't code the software myself so it actually asks you to create the account automatically, I can't actually turn that off! All that to say, if you DO decide to go back and grab your guide, you can do so, enter your email and name+password and that's literally all there is... After that, feel free to delete the "account"
Hope this helps!
Q: Style shoots - can you recommend a place where I can find models and makeup artists. I don’t have a portfolio.
facebook groups in each city normally have a group for them! post TFP (trade for photos) with a vision board of inspo shots for the shoot :)
Bra! This content is fucking dynamite.... actually glad its got way less views than it should have because that means im ahead of the competition having watched it :D
😎👌

25:38 Duck it!
Im almost 2 meters whit big beard, almost all the time people go to the outher side of the road when they notice me...
Haha oh man - I REALLY want to see this 2 meter white beard. The key is: Lean IN to who you are - Rock that beard, lean in to what makes you different and unique, and that will naturally self select the clients who connect with you
@@SignatureEdits 2 meter tall with big beard... just im in a hurry :D sorry
@@Rohambili DANG! I was REALLY digging the idea of a 2m white beard swaying in the wind - Like Gandalfs wiser father! ;)
@@SignatureEdits nah! thats not gonna be cool on my loved roadbike...
too much air resistance
Is your voice auto tuned?
Looks like Michael J Fox
Lol I've heard that before!
some of this stuff is so basic ... the number of website homepages for bars , photographers , restaurants, models etc ... that make **zero** mention of where the hell they are located !
2:46: 1 Thing that your photo website must NOT have: Glaring spelling errors. If your photographer is so careless or stupid to publish a video without running spellcheck, what else are they going to screw up? They can't be trusted with your special day.
The first thing you show is a major typographical error which leads me to think, how many of these comments and your 'followers' have you paid for? Additionally Instagram is not a portfolio.
haha whoops! first, no I haven't paid for any comments... Is that a thing? 2 - Goes to show you that apparently major typographical errors aren't as important as the work itself.
Also - A portfolio is just a collection of work. Doesn't matter where it is - Whether that's ig, tiktok, a website or a printed album.
But totally fine to disagree - You might be right!
Are you on Facebook
