Four Roses is a solid, old Bourbon producer, but they're not very experimental. The offer no Rye or Wheat whiskies, and no special barrel finishes like rum or sherry cask (not even a double-oaked/toasted offering. Maybe that's good, if you're a big fan of their traditional offerings - stick to the basics.
it's nice watching someone review a whisky that they want to be good and enjoyable ;)
Good review, Ben. My fave is still the Four Roses Single Barrel.
Can I ask, what brand is your stemmed snifter glass?
It's good, but too sweet for me. I love single barrel four roses. Awesome bottles. Thanks for review Ben
Excited to try this tonight for the Packers vs 49ers game!
Got me a bottle for the Sunday lineup. Buffalo vs chiefs and buccaneers vs lions.
The small batch is much spicier than the single. Both are excellent
One of my favorites!
My favorite, so much flavor without breaking the bank.
