You can really tell by this fight how injured he is these days. He can barely move in the Octagon, whereas in this fight he is pretty light on his feet and moves pretty well.

Well he is a lot lighter here so obviously he is going to be lighter on his feet. Him moving slower now has more to do with how much fat weight he put on than injuries.
I think you right he’s going for takedowns,sprawling often. He looked so more fluid. We never got to see dericks full potential in the ufc because of injuries.

These kind of fights are so much more entertaining than whatever that UFC stuff is. You can tell this is all out war.
At some point watching this, you have to think, why in the hell would someone do this and submit themselves to this kind of punishment which most likely is going to leave eventually permanent damage for the rest of these fighters life. It is somehow entertaining to watch, but brutal for the people doing it.

lewis had no way to keep the elbow and prevent the straightening of the arm.
I looked up his record, and this was the last time he ever fought. Probably sustained a life long injury. There's no way it would ever feel the same.

He’s had many injuries in his career, it takes a toll.

What a beating he couldn't stand up to celebrate his loss, I guess loss celebration can be done from the tarmac, ambulance stretcher, corner benches, depending on the situation. The corner bench was the best option out of the 3 options, being bench glued saved his life. All that pounding on his head against the tarmac is very detrimental to his brain, my hope is that he didn't get a concussion. What a ruff and tuff business.
Yeah that was a scary one. I know that one of the deaths from martial arts was a ground and pound situation similar to this one. Pretty sure Conors teammate was fighting someone else but regardless watching this I was thinking about how dangerous this “sport” is.
