I once saw a video of a prop very similar to the Lunging Head but the other one had mirrors inside so the head wasn't visible inside the box when it was closed.
I think you're referring to the ghost head in a box? That one is also from VFX
@@SuperTonkers Not really sure what the actual name of the prop was or the manufacturer. It was in a video on Facebook that was made up of short clips of people scaring eachother. Just now went to the VFX website. It was the Banshee Box that I saw.
At first I was like how could someone be afraid of the puppet when you have such a charming personality for her. But oh my god when she looked over your shoulder I almost pissed myself 😂
CANNOT WAIT until you see Home Depot's animatronics. They're really good this year but could do for some of y'all's creativity! 💕

I wish for the clingy miss the other hand went around her back. It could look like it was holding her or possibly pulling her back based on how she was moving. The whole time watching I just kept wishing it was so but its probably just a me thing. Thank you for sharing these with us.

I love the puppet, I wonder if the people who did her face sculpt and look was inspired by Scream queen legend Brinke Stevens films because she looks a lot like a possessed character she played in a film called haunting fear. It reminds me of her when she plays insane, possessed, crazy or all the above characters.

I’ve been watching transword videos since 2009 I still hope one day I’ll be able to go there in person Also I kinda wish the fake hands were more detailed and realistic looking for these and distortions props as well that use the same idea.

You guys just blew us away here at VFX with this video! GREAT JOB on all the details you cover on both the products! Thinking we need to hire you to do all of our product videos. :) One thing I want to interject is to not touch Sally's face, but push her shoulder instead. This keeps her face from being messed up and (more importantly) gives her something else to bite! Have her bite your hand that's pushing her shoulder...works great. Also, one of the most effective moves I do with her is swing her around like she's going for the opposite side of my neck. It really startles people...LOL. Also, Doug Schaefer ( #artguydesigns) is the lead artist and designer at VFX. Doug created the Lunging and Illusion boxes and the Bungee Heads. He's an amazing talent. Keep up the great work!

Happy Birthday Tom! I’ve seen the zombie head in a box in action in some convention videos. The clinging possessed/zombie girl is really amazing. Like you said, the effectiveness depends on the actor/puppeteer. Nice video!
