Just lost my Job. No wife, no kids, dealing with painful symptoms too, no degree of any kind. Feeling of lonelines. Im actually in good shape financially, but I feel so isolated at times. But, my will to press on is strong. I ask for you your prayers.
Being financially secure is what truly matters. If you are, you can search for another job without any stress. Also, it's important to be in good physical shape if you haven't already focused on that. Tinder can help you find dates man and don´t stress to much about a wife, it will happen when it happens.
@anjosdomar269
I am obese, but I have been hitting the gym harder these past two months. Food is hardest discipline.
I believe it's not so much the job as its a combination of a bunch of things hitting me mentally at once.
Appreciate your encouragement, after all I am actually blessed in this life.
Hang in there and keep going, You got this. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
How did you get a job with no degree?

'It’s a moral obligation to pursue what you find meaningful’. Such powerful words!! 🔥
yeah I heard him, but will any of us follow it? come on?
Why not
I just want to have a job

@jessicaras4540 This is so True.
@jessicaras4540lost my job at a very very crucial point in my life. My savings are melting away right in front of my eyes. I’m selling my stuffs and moving out to a less expensive state, unable to answer my kid, lucky to have a very understanding wife though. It’s been six months, several attempts, reached out to ppl i know.. nothing worked. I’m at a point that I lost hope that I’ll get another job ever. If there is God, why is he putting me through this? I’m not saying I’m the only one suffering- there are millions around the world. But why should i (and most of us) should undergo such unfair punishment?
I’m there right now three weeks and a few rejections but I can not give up my family depends on it so I also have to have faith that God will see me through it

I suffered with depression...went to college for 3 years...now I'm unemployed I don't know what to do...everyone else has their lives together
Trust me on this fact: NOBODY HAS OR WILL EVER, EVER HAVE THEIR LIVES TOGETHER.
There is no magical moment when we all of a sudden have it together.
Life is full of ups and downs.
I returned to the UK after 12 amazing years as a TEFL teacher. I'm now jobless living with my parents at 39.
I truly hope you find the courage to rise up and find positivity, because bad times, like good times, are transitionary.
YOU WILL SEE GOOD TIMES AGAIN AND YOU'RE NOT ALONE.
Write down 3 good things you have, no matter how small or insignificant they seem. You at least have those.
I'll give you some of mine:
1. I run in the mornings.
2. I have a supportive family.
3. I deeply love music.
3 even smaller ones
1. I'm not dead.
2. I can walk.
3. I can meditate.
GOOD LUCK!
REMEMBER, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! ❤
THANK YOU SO MUCH DEAR ONE!!!I WISH YOU MANY BLESSINGS@@chloescat
Nothing will be easy but you have to be willing to sacrifice. Powerful words by Prof. Jordan Peterson.
Jordan Is incredible. I lost my but was planning on making a change anyhow.
I wanted the opportunity to be objective say no if it was not a good fit."If you can't say no your a slave" you can't describe it much better.
I'm jobless for 20 years.I'm an artist and wherever i try to get a job, everybody treated me like some kind of paria or disease. So,i had to learn the life lessons to survive : Learn to steal and lie.And i survived.
Lol. How do you steal that amount of money on a regular basis, got me wondering
@@anjosdomar269 If you find a treasure, you'll tell to others where is it ?
@@RedEyeification yes of course. Especially if they lived in another country. You already steal and lie, god can forgive you for that, but dont steal and lie and be selfish 😂 That’s to much lol
@@anjosdomar269 Where is that God when you're searching for food in the dumpster or you're homeless ?
I searched "depressed" older and out of work. All of the action suggested is great advice for people that have hope, motivation, people they care for or surrounded by.....
But what do you do when you are out of resources and taking any action is hard?
What do you have that you're grateful for .. breath?
Perhaps a friend, fam, pet.. etc.. you're mind is all. What are you pretending not to know?
Self improvement is just a cope. It is meaningless.
Nobody wants to teach anything anymore ... If your look for a job in any level .. they want you to know alot of it. I do construction and I only do drywall . And they wanted me to know how to frame drywall tape and float and to know texture like what the hell ? And If I look for another job they wanted me to know already how to doit ..
I'm going through the same thing. It's really disheartening. It feels like nobody wants to just simply give people a chance anymore like people used to. I've applied for jobs when I was in my mid twenties and people were open to teaching. Now, I'm in my late 30s and all of a sudden, people aren't open to teaching anymore.
Exactly
Dad forcing me to get a job. But scared on facing the real world again after 2 jobs because of gaslighting of coworkers and clients.
Great words, but we live in a broken and corrupt civilization that is crumbling before our eyes. It is suffocating 99% of us while the 1% suck up all the fresh air. And where exactly are these "better jobs"? They dont exist. I would have more respect for you if you said the plain truth. Which would sound like this: "Most of you are totally screwed and Im just extremely grateful that Im not you."
Agreed. However, many people manage to lift themselves out of poverty, which suggests that if some can do it, then it's possible for everyone. But it's not easy; it requires faith, persistence, a relentless work ethic, and strength. Most of us are unwilling to pay this price; we desire the end result but not the effort it takes to achieve it. Thus, we are constrained by choice; it's not easy, but it's also not impossible.
Some people just don’t like to work
i havent work since i had car accident in 2022 life is so hard for me beening in kennesaw ga a news city looking for a job is so hard down here ive been so stressed out but i never gave up hope i pray one day i have a job
What if the unemployed person is already in her 50ies? All jobs require the applicants not to be older than 35 years old.
Yeah if over 35 years old regardless of your experience and qualifications you have a big problem getting employed in any job. Just fact !
Whatever you choose to believe is 'the truth'. If you BELIEVE you can't be employed at 50+...youre certainly right! If you believe you CAN be employed at 50+...you're certainly right! There is plenty of evidence out there to support whichever one you believe. I advise you to focus on searching for evidence of the latter. Consider re-training into a field that has high demand. There are free/low-cost programs out there to assist you if you are in the USA. Quality, free training also exists on RUclips. Stay positive Linda!
Start your own business.
You said it. Ageism is the quite discrimination. Im 54. Wirh a company 22 years, and it folded. Near the end i got cancer. I now feel 10 years older. I have not the drive to start again. I cannot impress an employer with my energy, only my wisdom. That does not get you a job.
I fought more than most to survive, but the cost was high. This does not fit in to the emploee narrative today.
Only diversity and inclusion......except me.
@@torrescopywriting5374 Not as easy as it sounds. People often give this kind of advice but have never taken the risk themselves...Try it in this climate..Food for thought
Nobody is in as dire a situation as myself. Long term unemployed, not on benefits, chronically ill, struggling as a mature student, unsupported, alone, a non driver, bullied including at short lived ywt permanently traumatic workplace experiences, years of unappreciated volunteering, rent to pay, student finance insufficient, yet all these unqualified, non English speaking people who have no values or appreciationare being offered the jobs i so carefully apply for without even applying! I am a full ethnic minority born in Britain, approaching my 30s and here i sit in agony, unemployed, rotting, suicidal, making no progress, having no family nor friends, suffering for nothing. What more can I try? Please help me. Thank you.
Everything will be fine. I pray for your well-being. Suicide is never an option. You'll find something soon. Look at the positive. You will find a way.
Honestly in the same place, and Jesus is the only thing that keeps me going. Praying for you brother.
I'm in the same situation as you with a little difference that i'm 50. Let's start putting you on your legs :
1) What's the worst job you can choose in Britain ?
2) How much you should pay for your rent & utilities ? After your response we'll continue.😊
If was in that situation, id sell all I had and move to a cabin in nature. Society can be be toxic for some and you gotta pull the plug and let your mind cleaned.
I'm unemployed myself 5 months. Starting to feel less myself and such dream on living of the land not using a lot of money on bullshit feels good. Might not be realistic but I like it the idea. I'm 33
Living in a major economy means that even an entry-level job can pay more than what 99% of the world earns. You can maintain a decent living doing various jobs. If you're losing job opportunities to non-English speakers, it might be worth analyzing your situation. Consider if any trauma is affecting your appearance or energy. Are you in good physical shape? Do you dress appropriately? These factors are significant, so if you're not at the top of your game in these areas, you might be selling yourself short. Focus on improving these aspects first, and things will likely get better.
I’m struggling to have a job I used to have a job basketball coaching and English teaching in China but I quit basketball because it wasn’t making me happy and company wasn’t paying us well I remained with English and as time went on I lost the few English jobs I had and now I have one job that doesn’t even pay enough for rent I struggle to eat and survive everyday and I can’t let my parents deal with my situation because this is my life and I have to grow but it’s hard everyday , everyday I wake up I feel like
I’m in a dream and I just to wake up from it
If your reading this I hope you remember that God is alive and God hears our voices and will be there for us always God bless
thank you you too, don't give up okay
"There's always tomorrow." Hmmm Tomorrow is never promised...The pandemic should have taught you that.
Yes but this same God has a will that is his own. He can help you but he can just as easily do nothing. We as mortals have no control over God's decisions. He is sovereign. As for moving mountains are choices and power is limited..God is not.
It's a funny thing everyone says that jobs stuck yet it's the equivalent to catching a bullet mid air to actually get one
These words are ok… not really helping tho. 52 years old… still 5 kids in house… lost my job cuz boss was irresponsible and had all his eggs in one basket and lost his contract… don’t tell me there was no more work till a week after Christmas… so welcomed in the New year unemployed. Then I had an issue with my heel where I couldn’t walk without a limp. So now it’s a month to day was my last day worked and still haven’t been paid. Put in tons of applications, my background check is negative because of a stupid Harassment misdemeanor in 2021. I been working construction and warehouses throughout my life and can’t find any work. Wife is pressing fast food places… and if I have to do it, if they’ll hire me I guess I have to do it. I am beyond depressed.
Try doing when your blacklisted and discriminated at every turn.
Such a powerful words
For me there is no better tomorrow, yes there is always a worst tomorrow.
You mean tomorrow is worse and the next day even worser? I don’t think that’s very motivational.
@@torrescopywriting5374 I don't say these things to motivate anyone I just say what I feel in every second.
@@jyotiranjan2992 Thinking there's a better tmrw is just giving false hope to oneself and going through same heartbreaking feeling once again. Sooner u accept good or bad life just goes on, life gets easier..
That's how I'm surviving...just one day at a time...today is worse than yesterday and tmrw will be worst but let me just pass today....!!
It's hard, so hard... I feel like giving up each day but I just keep going

BACKGROUND MUSIC IS ANNOYING AF!
Today they suddenly informed me that you're not suitable for our company. I've read to work there without money they paying me nothing 😞 now I'm thinking I lost everything things the bonds I made.
Very nice
The last thing I need is a job.
there is no light at the end for me
@jessicaras4540 i believe in God but he never replies
remove the music pls. Dont try to be something you are not. again lose the music its meaningless
Its great when you loose your license for 4 years, not only do we have to contend with lifes difficulties, the law loves to kick you while your down..
Moral of the story: Don't have children!!
May Allah guide us
Too late.
i don’t and i’m still stressing with this job loss. only day 2
No. If you have kids, you work longer and harder by necessity.
Anti-children thinking is very harmful for society. Personal decisions aside, speaking as if no one should have children is destructive and foolish.
Music isn't needed
I just need a job

I'm a sex offender, and my mission in life is to make sure that i dont sex offend ever again. Even bought a treadmill, constantly keeping my room neat, and organized, making sure that i socialize, get some sunlight, drink plenty of water, very rarely drink alcohol, donate to causes when i renew my ID yearly. What im doing is far better than to wallow in the filth that i created due to past actions. My long-term goal is to have a healthy, and strong body, and to not look like your typical looking fat sex offender. I wont let that happen, if youre gonna dispise me, I sure as hell going to have a strong and slim body to rebel against the status quo. This is my life, and this is the path that i choose to follow.

How about correcting your own writing. You incorrectly used a hyphen instead of an em dash-and one exclamation mark is enough. A bunch tells me you’re not a levelheaded person.
@@torrescopywriting5374 constructive criticism from a potential consumer. I'd have taken it onboard personally.
Wrong. There is not always a better tomorrow. There is no promise of a tomorrow...Worst advice ever. What unemployment teaches you is that you have no control over the decisions of others that affect the outcome of being hired in this job market.
Why is there a random Asian guy in the video? A guy I don’t know anything about. This is supposed to be Jordan Peterson’s advice.
Random Asian Guys apparently have their uses and hammer the message home.
Not for me. Verbal murderer!
