- Oh man, for how long have I been working on this, two, three months already? The editing part was the hardest for me, surprisingly, because I didn't want to make the video boring for y'all to watch after spending so much time on it, so I hope you guys like it!
I don't know what title to give to this video exactly, so it might change in the future, idk! But yeah, all I need to say is that I'm really relieved to post this video. It was a lot of work and even though my opinion on the result is ''meh, could've done better'', I still enjoy the experience I got from this.
Oh, and I forgot to say! If you liked the drawings at the beginning, just so you know, they're all posted on my Instagram, along with all my other stuff. I'll also be posting some of those animations individually, and I still have more Frankenstein scenes to draw, so you'll all see them over on my Insta.
On another note, the subtitles that I put in the last animation are not completely true to Vvarx's dialogues. I personally decided to change two small things for ''better translation'' (although I technically am not a german native or something, so don't take it as official lmao), so I hope it's okay x_x

Your animations, so fluid and expressive and beautiful, bring life to these characters in a way I have seldom seen anywhere else.
There is such subtle emotion in the expressions, in the character movements, in the weight of each scene that I am not lying when I say that I am shaking as I write this.
And my goodness ... that last scene. I am humbled and honored and emotional that you enjoyed my drabble enough to animate so beautifully. I wish I could but into better words the way I feel, but I'm just ... so very appreciative. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It means the world.
I know 2020 may have been a nightmare of a year, but if anything, we are all incredibly gratefull for the art that you've blessed us with these past months.

I just love how Victor comforted his younger brother Ernest during Justine's execution but my favorite one's gotta be where Victor is having a mental breakdown and Henry comforts him, like that's so sweet of him. The last one is also beautiful. Your art is amazing as well.

When I was in my teens, I'd spend ages watching really artistic short animated movies. This reminds me of that time and it's a really pleasant feeling.
The animation is fairly smooth but not as smooth as CGI, it kind of reminds me of the animation in the Snowman which is one of my favourite films. I think that adds a lot of charm to it. I think the characters' facial expressions are perfect, I'm not a Victor fan usuall but you really made me feel for him and the little moments between characters like Victor pulling Ernest back after Justine is hanged is really good but heartbreaking.

I hadn’t ever thought that I would cry because if fan art, nor that based off a book written 200+ years ago. But, here you are, proving me wrong. You style is truly gorgeous and it expresses the characters emotions beautifully. Your poses are articulate and so well done!The movement flows so smoothly.

This was a delight to watch all the way through. It's so wonderful to see all the scenes in the book brought to life (heheh. Get it?), and so beautifully too. And then your own little expasions on the story with Margret and Ernest were so sweet!!
Also I was unprepared to see the drabble animated. Any chance to see my boi getting an ounce of the love he deserves, and all the Frankenfeels come rushing. Now in visual media!

I know I'm a year late to the fandom but this was the best I've seen from it, from the animation to the Wonderful art and don't get me started with the last one! I haven't read the book nor watch the musical but from my digging the original ending is very sad and depressing and this last scene just amplified those emotions and make you wish things were different. I am at lost with words as this animation refuses to leave me, you have a bright future as an animator keep up the good work!

They're all so sad and bittersweet and make the book even better, the characters are animated so beautifully and capture their essence so much better than any of the film adaptations I've seen. How am I just seeing this now??? Seriously, I am in love with these animations, and the little headcanons are very cool! If your work becomes a full-blown movie, I'd be watching it nonstop.
Although, I do have one question: have you ever drawn the Creature's Bride? So far we have seen Victor, the Creature, Henry, and all those characters, but not her. I know she doesn't get resurrected in the novel, but I am curious... what is your take on the Bride? (I'm asking because, personally, she's pretty underrated and one of my favorite monsters! Thanks Universal!)
Thank you so much, that means a lot! I gave a design to every character, including the Bride, but I never did anything out of it since she never actually gets to live. I don't actually have that much of a take on the original novel, I just like to add things of my own in the bits of the story that were skipped to give more depth to the characters. The things I changed compared to the book are pretty minimal!

Fun fact: Frankenstein's native language is French, not German.
To be more precise, both German AND French are his native languages. Italian could technically be counted too, but since he grew up in Geneva, and then studied in Germany, both German and French are his primary languages!
