I'm in love with this musical so I suddenly decided to make my version of this scene which is extremely dramatic/heartbreaking. It took me a total of two days to finish this!
The idea of making the Creature coming through the door after hearing the scream was brought when I watched this excellent video of Amoeba, check it out if you haven't yet: • Video

The lines "You are a children of Hell" "Your children as well"and "You are a mistake!" "That you planned" I don't know if i should laugh or feel about that tbh. Great animatic, really love the part of the confrontation
Frankenstein, a tale of 2 jerks that make everything worse for themselves and everyone around them and don’t take responsibility until it’s too late.

That's true. I adore everyone and all the characters but by the end their actions led to their own self destruction.

This exchange right here is why this is my favorite adaptation of Frankenstein. Sure other adaptations have made the creature intelligent or well-spoken, but this is the only time I've seen him just completely outdo Victor mentally and verbally like he does in the book.
Aahhhh, I'm giving so many hearts but I just can't stop! 😭💖 thank you so muuch, I'm so glad you like my take on Frankenstein! And YES, the Creature is such an interesting and intelligent character, if I was Victor, I would also be in shock of how powerful the Creature's words and presence are!

Its ironic, since in "birth of my creation" when Victor tells about his beautiful creation, chorus doesn't sing part about creatures mind, meaning that it is "broken". Chorus also cuts away second time to Victor's "Darknes", basically saying that creatures mind is darkness.
I love this song because it's like 40% the monster pulling an uno reverse card.

Victor flinching when the creature called him a liar in 0:37 just seems too cute idk why. It's like he's saying 'Excuse me!?'

oh wow this is sooo good!! This made me feel even worse for the creature because his bride was reanimated only to be murdered shortly after. Even if Victor doesn’t see it as that, it is in the creature’s eyes. I love how intimidating you drew the create while at the same time making him seem so fragile and heartbroken.

It's abysmally cruel in the eyes of the creature. Like Frankeinstein's literally abandoned him and he was left to fend for himself. A deal was sorted, he was promised a bride and he was finally hopeful to have companionship in this bleak world. Only for Frankeinstein to kill her the moment she was reanimated, it looks like such a sick joke like it looks like from the creature's perspective something Frankeinstein's planned all along.
Letting him hope and snatching that hope away. I also like to connect this to basically killing a baby, your own baby, the moment they are brought to this world.

This is just... I’m in awe. I can’t believe I’ve never seen this animatic before, it’s so good. The expressions in particular, the body language, the way it all matches and lines up to the words, the designs. I’ll admit, I don’t think I’ve ever seen victor depicted as this pretty before, and it threw me off in a good way. This was so fun and lovely and well don’t and I don’t know what else to say because it’s just too good. I love it. Thank you so much for creating and sharing it.
