I bought this set last week and absolutely LOVE it on my metal/rock kit! I just miss a bit of definition and clarity in the ride, but overall it sounds brilliant. The hihat can easily compete with the top-line hihats on the market. Can't wait to add the Trash Crash and the Holey China as well!

You should add weight specification on cymbal description on Zultan website...

The 16" crash is absolutely perfect. Some other brand's 16 inch crashes are too high pitched to me thats why i never liked em'
    But this one. Amazing!

With careful listening and comparison, the
    Zultan Rock Beat Professional B20
cymbals sound more open and more interesting than the more expensive
    Istanbul Agop Xists.
They are more open, interesting and have more cymbals patterns than the
    Istanbul Samatya
which are even more expensive than the Agop.
They are more interesting and have more templates than
    Turkish Moderate.
    Great Respect for Zultan

Holy China is Beast an the Hihat has got a perfect crunch for Rock. The Crashes are nice, too. The Ride ist not heavy enough für metal oder am I wrong?

Hey! Great video. Im thinking about to buy this set. My question is: Are they heavy, medium or thin cymbals? (especially the crash cymbals) I have the same question about the Dark Matter Professional set. thx!

Yes, Zultan rockbeat are Turkish rock beat and probably Pasha brilliant too but are cheaper. Sonor Armoni are very close sounding but not the same.

I love you guys, but you should seriously consider changing the format of these videos.
Is this a review channel, where Tommi Kolsi reviews only Zultan cymbals, or is this a product channel? If it's the latter one - stop giving your personalised opinion on the sound of cymbals. "Not my taste" - why are you making the cymbal then, if you do not like it? Sell your product, not review it. I have never seen other cymbal channel bashing their own product.
If it's a glorified review channel - channel name change should do.
Do not take this personally, as I really wish you guys the best.

    • @ZultanTheCymbalBrand

Thanks for the feedback! We are trying to give an accurate picture of the cymbals we produce for drummers to help them (you) decide which cymbal would be the best for your setup. I also try to give an honest review of them because you can only try them at Thomann music store in Treppendorf, Germany so it would be as easy as possible to make the decision based only on sound samples. :) - Tommi

At least they are honest. 😜. I will buy them because they are real people reviewing and giving their honest opinions which is respectable
