This is how a test should be. No endless talking, just hit the things. Great video!
Thanks! :)
We request a written apology from Zildjian for their unjustified pricing.
StarOwen shipping to the states is a little rough
With NO hand-hammering too!!!! (to keep the prices LOWER!! Jeez
@@robinhoodwasasocialist.1401 Well what about their prices in Europe then.
@@Adiaf8oros you still have to sell a kidney to buy them...
@@robinhoodwasasocialist.1401 wasn't bad really. I had 15" hats, 18" and 20" crashes sent and shipping was about $32 US. It pretty much stays that way until you pass a certain weight, which I may off here but I believe it's in the 70 lb range.
Great sound test/comparison demo overall! Only thing missing for me is open hats played continuously.
I really love these cymbals, I purchased the Rock Beat Profi series and have been so impressed. I took my Zildjan A series and put them in the cymbal case. That is how fantastic these cymbals are. I would like to get a set of CAZ and Dunes.
top notch video, straight to the point, no 76mn talking, cutless comparison, good sound and playing . Well done Zultan !
Thank you! :)

My goodness those Heritage cymbals sound absolutely beautiful.
Been listening to this for over an hour. Here’s my favs:
Hi hats: F5 or Rock Beat
Crash: F5
Ride: CS
F5 crash is really jarring irl imo
Our drummer is super ultra happy: He got a Q ride 21" , Q Hi Hat 14", Dune crash 16" ... He couldn't believe his ears.. And we were like that >>> O_O .. Guys, thanks a ton for this high quality.. In all senses.. Impressive, amazing sound!!
Great to hear that!
Excellent snare drum sound, and i can't hear the cymbals so good
i mean thats pretty much the point of the video, it demonstrates how it sounds through the mix
I sincerely cannot decide which are best! They all sound amazing.
Purchased a Rock Beat series 22" heavy ride 3 years ago. Couldn't be more satisfied!
Just got the Q set after listening to this vid a billion times. The hats and the ride are especially fire.
Aja, Caz and Rock Beat are awesome! Top Allround Sets! The rest is really nice for it's sound. LOVE the Q Ride for example! I have mixed Caz Crashes with Rock Beat Crashes an Holey Crash and I am going to get the Q ride, cause I like it the most.
best cymbal demo/comparison I've ever seen
wow i love your amazing cymbals at last made me sit up so sweet and get the accents done then out the way, spot on guys, would love to film some and purchase a few sets, feature them for my band in uk
The Dune series sounds amazing! Gotta get some ;-)
i bought the aja series for my first ever set and im speechless!
Nice! It's a very good set :)
Dark matter, love this one
Proud player of the Q series Crashes, the Raw Ride and the Rock Beat Hi-Hat and China!
Superbe vidéo, merci !!
I got an Aja 18 crash, I absolutely love it. These aren't "entry level' they are great cymbals. I use it with my paiste giant beats, and it holds it own. Well worth a risk. I'm thinking of trying the 15 caz hats.. Cheap as chips!
Love Rock beat series 😘😘😘👍👍👍💗💗💗🥁🥁
With he exeption of the first set, these are all impresive.
Nice comparison. Thank you
You're welcome!
I really love the rock beat series, got the profi cymbal set!!!Just recently I completed my set of cymbals by adding a splash and china!!! Couldn't be happier 😁😍
Happy with AJA-Series. In the beginning they were handmade.
Essa série de postos sa zultan não conhecia, tem que vim para o Brasil vem fazer sucesso aqui.
Hello! Great sounding stuff!! Which ones would you recommend for studio recording? I need a set that doesn't have a lot of harsh high frequencies for mixing. Cheers!❤️
i wish there were more cymbal brands like this available in canada. i would love to try them out. all we have is sabian and zildjian mostly
I'm a proud owner of the Q series!
@Bubb They are quite
loud cymbals suitable for heavy music. They won't let you down. They re louder that Cs,caz, heritage, aja series and a little louder than the rocket series. The loudest of Zultan is the F5 series but they re too thick for my taste. If you are in rock/metal the Q series is s very good choice. You can use them for live gigs and recordings.
@Bubb I have the professional set (14-16-18-20)+an 19 inch Q crash a 10 inch rock beat splash,an 18 inch rockbeat trash China and the 12/14 rocket stack.Im very satisfied.
Ordering my first set in a few weeks and I’m excited! I’m looking at the Zultan Raw pack
Uuuuhhh... take a pic!😫
Z Series it is for me!
I'm a proud owner of the Caz series.
I'm really thinking of selling a few cymbals of mine (sabian aax) and getting a set of zultan cymbals instead. They sound incredible.
one day (hopefully soon enough) I'll get my hands on a dark matter set and I'll never let it go !!
Just got my Caz 15" hh, 18" & 20" crashes. Loving them. Fantastic sound, nice a buttery feel, very musical. Not harsh or over bearing in any way. Next on the list is some from the Dune and Heritage series'
Awesome that you like them! Let us know how the Dune and Heritage series works for you :)
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand most definitely will. Going to have to wait a bit for funds though
Well, that's my wishlist sorted.
Q hi-hats
Z crashes
Dune or Dark matter ride
I've got a Dark Matter Professional Cymbal Set and I love them :) maybe one day I will be in Zultan Family like an a artist ;)
Question: does the ride have a still sound like in the video or does it have much more presence?
@@MAC-eq5he way way more, the drums are way high in the mix here
how is the decay? I love the sound but don't want them to ring forever in a recording.
These sound amazing. Paiste signature good. There is not one I dislike.
Thank you!
God knows I'm a Paiste addict but... Those F5, damn!!
You could actually show different cymbal sizes which are not included in sets like 15 hats, 17 and 19 crashes, 21 and 22 rides.
We are making these videos in the future for sure! ;)
How Impulz and Aja symbals compare? I really like the hats and ride on Impulz's but not sure if the crash is too bright for my taste since I already have 17" Aja crash.
I was unfamiliar with the Z series, they look great, but for clarity and overtones my vote would go with the CS or Aja series.
Hello, I would like your opinion, I play very varied music, mostly classic rock and derivatives, but some songs have more Latin rhythms, I like RB (These look different from the ones on the page, are they?
) but maybe they are very focused on rock. Do you ship to Latin America?
or only USA? Thanks
All of these sound superb!! Immaculate cymbals overall, will you all ever be putting an artist page and endorsement applications on your website?
Today is the day!
q series or dune series? i need buy two crash and two splash... any recomendations? maybe mix them? music genre prog rock with elements of grunge and psychedelic rock ;)
My election is clear: Rock Beat series.
Coloring aside, something about those Dark Matters really reminds me of some vintage Paiste Sound Formula cymbals!
I like them the most. They sound clean and well balanced. There's no frequency saying "I want in the first row!"
Those F5s sound unreal
Oooh that z ride
The heritage ride is great
I know it a long time you did this recording, but can I ask a stupid question? Do you think any then sounding like Zildijan K dark thin crachers. I'm starting upp my career after being on a long break going thorough tons of rehabs and operations, it will literally be like starting over again. But zultan see to have affordable good suff a middle aged lady can start up with. Also I'm a huge fan of Zildijan K dark thin crashes etc. Thanks to the clip and comparison. You're gold! The csz and Cs seems great!
Great video! Not enough hi hat dynamics to make a decision. They all sound practically identical in this video when played closed.
Headphones help immensely... watch it again!
I'm having a hard time hearing the ride cymbals in all cases. Is the recording just bad?
Its the recording
Try to listen to it with good monitors or great headphones.. It sounds good ;)
That Heritage crash…. Perfect crash sound

💥
Great video! I played the drums for a about a year and I previously used an electric drum set. Now I just bought a new Pearl acoustic drum kit and I want to match it with some good but affordable cymbals. Which one of these cymbals would you recommend? Thank you! 😁
If its your first set then I suggest de Impulz series, awesome price/quality. Then add cymbals in the coming years as yur taste.
Caz and Raw totally recommended.
🤩✌
Hello this Debra, I got them all right!!
Is there a set of hi hats and and a crash cause I can't afford with the ride cymbal
I love the Q samples I've heard, but the Dune series has a lot of character and interesting tones. I wish they were available domestically in the US. 😞
Oh they are!
So in doubt between buying either of those two sets atm...
Finally
Hi there i m going to purchase a set of this company as the prices are really good.i want to be not very loud, not heavy, not pingy and with not much sustain.do you think that caz is the line i need?please help.thanks
Why is Dune much more expensive than RAW. They sound so similar... But I love them both :D
Hey, what‘s exactly the difference between the raw, raw jazz and dune? What Series is best for Jazz, bossa nova and fusion pop?
The Raw cymbals are a bit thicker than the Raw Jazz cymbals so the Raw Jazz are a bit more dry with faster decaying. There's also a video about the Raw Jazz cymbals in our channel if you want to check :) The Dune Series cymbals on the other hand are very trashy and dark with fast decay. All of them would go pretty well for the genres you mentioned so it depends on your taste really :)
great comparison! Can you tell me best low buget cymbals for rock drumming? Are really Rockbeat cymbals best option?
Are Q series better than Rockbeat?
Depends on the sound you want!
Hi Zultan! I’m looking for cymbals, that i can use for jazzy/funk songs with sime exceptional hardcore. What would you recommend? Thanks
check out our Dune Series!🌵
And now in reverse, including the drum beat. (I am going to go for the Q series.)
Q or Z ?... Not an easy choice.. They are awesome.
@@TheUnwritersOfficialChannel No argument here. I would prefer to have a range of cymbals, but I need the Q-series, because they are really mellow while retaining some high end. The Z-series remain in the high end too much for what I mean to do, making them too edgy. In all honesty, I would favor also buying the Dune-series for grittier sounds.
@@emilehobo You're absolutely right! After listening to them several times, our drummer changed his mind and will get a Q set.. Something special that don't have the other series..
Since it's a showcase of the cymbals, I think it's kinda weird to have the volume of them so low in the mix
Hello, an opinion, do you recommend the caz or dark set?
Hi! Do you mean the Dark Matter set? It depends on the music style you're playing. The Caz Series cymbals are thinner and work the best for jazz, blues, funk, fusion etc. and the Dark Matter Series cymbals are thicker and better for rock, hard rock, metal etc. :)
I want buy a set of 14HH 16C 18C 20R. This will be my first professional cymbal set. Which of these is the best value for money with a nice standard sound? The rock beat set is the best in this way to beginning with a professional set? What is your advice? Thank you
You can't beat the Rock beats!
Отлично.
I liked
Dark Matter: Ride
F5: Crash
Heritage: Crash
(Q: Hi Hat, a little bit)
Raw: Hi Hat (Ride, a little bit)
So... do I just buy those separately or is that illegal
Where did these majestic CYMBALS come from? Are they be eight alloy? They sound so good
Thank you! Our cymbals are made in Istanbul, Turkey and they are all B20 Bronze. The only exception is the CS Series which is B25 bronze alloy :)
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand I love them!!!!! Sound just as good as my Zildjian!!!!! I love b20
Which cymbals do you think is best for Hard Rock music like AC/DC? pls answer
Rock cymbals set
Rock beat is great, but you can use Q, F5, CS and aja as well
Sou, do Brasil, como faço para comprar ou exportar esses pratos?
I'm so torn between the dune grand set and the dark matter pro set!! Based on this video alone (and the fact that they are in stock rn), I'm leaning towards the dark matter...but no video compares the full set of each with the 15" dune hi-hat 😬😬😬
You should try our 16" Dune HH😉
I went with the dark matter box set and threw an 18" dune trash crash in as well. The 16" dune hi hat will definitely be my next purchase followed by the 22" ride. @@ZultanTheCymbalBrand
Same beat as the Paiste demo from 10 years ago.
The panning choice is strange - everything is panned to sound as if the listener was in front of the kit, but the camera is either on the side or above from the behind side.
Which one is most likely comparable to the dark thin K series?
The CS series for sure. It’s not quite the same, but pretty close. The ride isn’t as good as the k light, but it’s okay.
I play all * Paiste * cymbals, but now that i have heard these cymbals i think i am going to have to buy a set or 2 and mix them together............The * Dune * Ride sounds like my 22" Signature Dark Metal Ride, and the F5 Series sound like my 2002's, and i have seen the prices, a complete set cost's less than my 22" Signature Blue Bell Ride, so i am think a set of * Dune * series and a set of * F5 * series mixed together will give me the sound i am looking for.
The F5 really don't sound like 2002s, at least not like the new ones. They have a distinct sound that is not shimmery but full and with a short decay.
Didi you got them? How do they sound, are you happy with them ?
I know Zultan cymbals sound great....too bad i can hardly hear them in this elaborate cymbal video . Cheers !
Anybody have any recommendations between the q series and the z series? They seem to sound the same to me. Maybe a SLIGHT difference.
Our Q series is way heavier and a bit darker!
The cymbals look amazing, but I think some of the series are redundant. A lot of the cymbals sound quite similar, they ought to change up the weight and shape of some of the cymbals, it seems like most of them are made from the same bronze "blank".
Literally ALL Zildjian b20s are the same blank. So not sure what the point there was. lol
19" Dune Trash Crash
What? No open hi hats playing 😥
Q and RAW.
It would be greater if you could show the cymbels also in different styles. I think, the Caz Series is more jazz-like and sounds better at this kind of playing.
I use caz for light /classic rock and works GREAT! Maybe just not good for heavy metal stuff
metal drummer with 17" and 19" CAZ here :)
Rock Beat
🫡
Hm...so many choices. I'm think 15" Raw hats, 22" Q ride, 19" Raw crash and 18" (maybe 17) Q crash.
Great choices for a versatile set!
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand where to purchase for USA?
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand So I've looking at Thomannmusic.com. Do you ship to the US? Also, what is the approximate weight difference between the CAZ 20" ride and 20" crash? The ride seems super crashable but I'm curious to know how the crash sounds in comparison.
@@jonathanbormann5077 Yes we ship to USA too :) We don't know the exact weights of the cymbals because they are completely handmade, but the crash is a bit lighter and generates more even sound. The ride has more brighter characteristics. I can tell for experience that the Caz 19" crash/ride is a very good crash if you want a good and well balanced crash sound. Here's is a video where I use it (right side crash): ruclips.net/video/M-Yd6f6bssY/видео.html - Tommi
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand I really wish you had 15 in CS hi-hats
just ordered the Q set....waiting
It's worth the wait!
@@ZultanTheCymbalBrand yes love the 14 HH and the 20 ride....the 16 crash....I should have choose the 18 but its a nice litle crash, heavy and bright
It’s somehow a dissonance when you see the cymbal on the right but it sounds on the left )))
Well... the video is mixed in the spectator perspective
Weird... They all sound good...
A demonstration of the cymbals without playing the kit Is preferred, that snare Is annoying... Anyway I have an F5 hi hat (with two holes on the bottom) and It sound better in real life but I hope you will make a new one with the edge of F5 and the bow of the rock beat, It will gain a bit of wash still being crunchy.
I have the dark matter, and an 18" China, and I have to say the video doesn't get across the volume of them, they're a good bit louder than what comes across here imo
Where can I buy these
You can buy our cymbals from Thomann by ordering them from their webshop here: www.thomann.de/gb/zultan.html You can change the language and currency from the top right menu according to your country :)

If I want taste a zultan cymbals where I could do it?
I'm in Spain.
Lukaos Burn: Thomann.com, my dear friend.
Hi! Unfortunately all our cymbals can be tested only in Musikhaus Thomann's shop in Treppendorf, Germany
Plus none of the endless tapping on the cymbals before actually playing them. The drummer gets right into the context of their use.
Please play whit open hihat
Sorry about that! You can check the hi-hat comparison here where they are also played open: ruclips.net/video/H6Qr7N4ckw4/видео.html
