- In this video I breakdown how Cole Beasley runs a whip route. We talk about when to change speeds on a route, how to drop your hips at the top of the route and how to create separation. I hope you enjoy!
This route is super easy now but man when I first tried this It was a struggle
Tough to learn but it just takes time!
Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead 3 days later so that you may have eternal life, allow Him into the door of your heart
Spread route is a good one, especially if you've been working the water concept the whole game.
Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead 3 days later so that you may have eternal life, allow Him into the door of your heart
What do I do if I don’t have the time to go slow at first. Our whip routes have a boot by the qb so I have to get there fast
Then just do the same principles faster, I completely get that so if you can do the same concepts but at a quicker pace it accomplishes the same
One of my favorite routes to run
Jesus died for your sins and rose from the dead 3 days later so that you may have eternal life, allow Him into the door of your heart

Run the arms in and out of the route…helps you drive out the break, have no energy leaks and create separation.
Yessir I like that phrase “energy leaks” I use that with my guys
@@firstdowntraining I meant to say run the arms in and out of the break not the route haha. Although arms never stop moving from start to finish in the play. Many guys who run this route are all feet no arms. That’s why they get stuck/slip or are slow driving out the break.
Cole is my dad’s cousin
That’s awesome, great route runner
What about against inside shade press against an aggressive db that gets hands on
If you search up “first down training how to beat a physical DB” on RUclips we have some releases there that can help!
such a smooth route
Agreed! Beasley is next level
What's the different this and the zig route ?
Same concept, just two different names
I remember Jerry Rice killin this route as a Raider.
JustPlaying2020 Jerry rice was the king at changing up tempo.
Beasley was a very crafty and gifted player. Anytime you have a career like his at that size... that tells you something.
No doubt, he’s a really special route runner
Also known as the Julian Newman route 😂😂
He jumped in my seats after he scored that
That’s awesome
Head peak is so important
No doubt! Hope this helps
