You made me think of my sister when we were teenagers. She was out deep in the woods and discovered a small, completely abandoned and overgrown cemetery. Most of the gravestones were half-buried as though no one had set foot there for decades. Well my sister very innocently took a gravestone home and showed our dad and said, "This will make a cool coffee table, don't ya think"? OMG I'll never forget the look on my dad's face. Absolute HORROR!! (He gave her a little "We must respect the dead" lecture and they quickly returned the little headstone to its place!) She felt so guilty...
I love this video Adam! Especially your insert of the haunted basement you visited before. Actually you're a lot like my sister! To this day she finds the coolest places ever!

I agree, Adam doesn't offend anybody, gender, race or religion. He doesn't drop the f-bomb or tell off colored jokes. What Adam does do is tell a good story. His voice is easy on the ears and his commentary witty.
He reminds me of a middle aged futuristic hippie. He can't really be pigeon-holed.

Hello Adam, I've been watching daily since a few days before you left California recently, I've also gone back to see old videos from both your channels and I just want to say thanks, it's inspired me to go travel on my spare time and discover new places. I've become a fan of your vlogs and look forward to your next main channel video.
If you're headed to Cincinatti, you should hit up the Forest Fair Mall. It's arguably the greatest of all the practically-abandoned malls in America, featuring a very ornate, colorful, and unique interior that cost millions of dollars for them to implement. Now it sits mostly vacant with only a few stores (and an awesome retro arcade) inside.

Adam, I love your videos and absolutely love that you upload everyday. RUclips and daily vlogs have essentially replaced any television I used to watch, with all but a handful of vloggers being introduced to me through your channel. From viewing twitter posts and mentions, I feel I'm not alone in that sentiment. It's such a fun and positive community to be a part of and for that I owe thanks to you. I also want to say that I am excited that you're uploading in accordance to the eastern time zone now. I usually have to be at work before 5am, so there has always been a Woo video to watch when I got home, but would occasionally have to wait a while for an upload on my off days. Now that you have moved across the country, on days I'm not working, I almost always have a video waiting to be watched by the time I wake up. Thank you, travel safe, and good luck!

Just a tidbit of information for you. A broken column in a cemetery does not necessarily mean it's been broken. The old symbology of a broken column often meant a life cut short.

If you're going to Cincinnati, go up north to Middletown and check out the Canal Museum. It's a small little building that has info about the culture and the history of the old Miami-Erie Canal. It's super cool!
I bad storm or tornado may have damaged those headstones. It's pretty common at older cemeteries here in the south.
The Horseshoe Valley in Ontario, Canada has a devils dip/deep valley road. At least a 80-100 meter dip in the road. Maybe 200-300 meters of road till the climb back up. The valley itself is only a bit more than a kilometre wide. Totally intense ride. When I watched your video, I had such a strong pull to go there and experience it again. I could physically feel the need to go back. When I do, I should document it. Almost feels like the car won't make it back up.

Hey Adam! If you ever find yourself just outside Beaufort, SC, I highly suggest checking out the Old Sheldon Church Ruins. It was burned twice, once in the Revolutionary War, rebuilt, and burned again by Gen. Sherman during the Civil War. Both a beautiful and haunting location.
I am going to use my "Columbo like search skills" and watch the previous video!

Adam in the cemetery you're commenting on all the broken tombstones when you hear a voice saying "Can't take it with me" at 7:47. You can hear it better raising the volume to nearly maximum and using headphones. I guess he has a point. So wise for such a young age.

The meaning of it: a broken life, too early death, sudden rupture, instand brokeness... great roadtrip btw, watching you every day from the Hollandais, Nethercountries, you know, the Dutchies :) godspeed!

Fun fact, many broken column headstones were always that way, it was meant to symbolize a life cut short, but many people don't know this and numerous headstones have been "restored" to a full column, when they never were that way to begin with.
cincinnati is close to my area. 2 hours or so. we go there fairly often. enjoy, theres some fun stuff around there

So excited you'll be in Cincinnati! That's where I live. I love my city! Some cool places to are Spring Grove Cemetery, Kings Island, Cincinnati Museum Center (aka Hall of Justice), Reds Hall of Fame, Coney Island. Interesting fact about Coney Island- before Disneyland was built and in its early planning stages Walt Disney visited researching for his future park because Coney Island was considered to be one of the finest and most well maintained parks of the time. Coney Island became Kings Island when they closed it down in the early 70's and moved it to Mason. There are tons of cool places to see in Cincinnati! If you need suggestions or have questions I have know lots about my city. Even some filming locations.

You ought to go to mooresville IN to gravity hill and see if your vehicle gets pulled up the road. It's said that if you sit at the base of the hill you will be pulled up it so I think you should go and test it out do some research 😊

eat a burger and a bowl of chili (not Cincinnati style) at Terry's turf club best burger and chili you'll ever eat
jungle Kim's grocery store in Fairfield, Ohio is the craziest grocery store there is. they have EVERYTHING.
since you like baseball, the Reds hall of fame and museum has been called the best team HOF in MLB.

When I was younger my friend and I spent an entire day riding that thing. Too much fun! I'd love to go back to Kings, I bet that'd seem like a wee baby now that I've been on some monster coasters since then. Total coaster freak here! Gotta love some of those classics tho.😊

Hey Adam, if you're headed to Cincy in a few weeks and want an idea for the Daily Woo, check out the Natural History Museum. The building design was the idea for the Hall of Justice from the old animated series "Super Friends" by Hanna-Barbera. Inside you'll also find Neil Armstrong's space suit from his Apollo landing ("one small step for man . . .") and a REALLY COOL AND VERY BIG TRAIN SET.
If you have some time, you should check out Cincinnati's Spring Grove Cemetery. It's one of the best in the state of Ohio. Enjoying all the vlogs!

When I was a teenager my family were caretakers of a cemetery in Indiana. We had trouble with teenage vandals who would intentionally go to the oldest part of the cemetery and destroy the tall flat headstones. It seems they were targeted because they were easier to destroy than the smaller ones that were closer to the ground.

As Adam drives off over the gravel parking lot that was once the site of the legendary Shiloh church and its young ghost you can hear a young boy yell at 8:01 "Go!" and at 8:03 "Let it go!" and I can't help but wounder if that could possibly be the young ghost of the little boy telling us that what is done is done. It is the past. There's is no reason to dwell on the past, that all we should do is look to the future. Such a wise little boy for his age.

super glue is your friend, as far as broken headstones go, many times the really old headstones, decay from the weather , etc,, if you go to my Mothers final resting place, there are a few that once were tall, but, because of the weather, just fall apart, I think, thats why now, they use a solid slab of stone, that reminds me,, I need to go see my mother and brother soon,,, good vlog
