I was lucky enough to be in the audience when you guys were discussing this book. I was laughing my butt off. Now that it's been Dissectied seriously, i'm still laughing my butt off because it's such a silly character, and he's getting the Matt likes comics treatment as if was in the Superman family. Great job!
I actually got a couple of Ferret comics when I purchased a haul back in 2018. Didn’t read it yet, I had no idea Ferret is from the Golden Age. Thanks Matt!
The Ferret is lounge musician and Night Man was a lounge saxophone player. I wonder if they ever played together. I have this issue somewhere. I need to read it after yoyr great review. I have several Centaur comics. I need to see if he is in them. Thanks for this vid i love the golden age and didn't know about this character.
Never would have thought the Ferret was around during the golden age. The cover of Ferret #7 is very similar to X-Factor #52. Yes, he gave off a Sabretooth vibe on issue 10.
You'll believe a ferret can fly! I wanna see Ferret kicking Wolverine's butt! I have some of these comics, I don't remember a thing about the stories in them though so I guess they were underwhelming!
Note that Ken Branch was also the inker for issues #11 to #38 for the DC Comics series known as The Darkstars. He also did the inking for Malibu's comic known as the Ex-Mutants (1992-94). I don't know if he did all of those issues.

wow collected alot of books back then . Probally have the Ferret.
Finally got to watch - great video, Matt! Now I'm jealous I don't have the full run. We're going to end up with the whole Malibu run, aren't we?
Already working on it.
@@Matt_Likes_Comics 😂 of course you are!
I'm suprised they didn't apply the a Ferrets fowl odor the heroes powers
Milk stealing happened in a Wonder Woman sensation comic
I love the Ferret! Pulled that out of a 10c bin back in the 90s. It's a fun story with some decent art.
This all began because Lettuce pulled out one from a dollar bin. It's fantastic fun.
@Matt_Likes_Comics So good! Love the die cut #1 cover too. Really makes that mullet pop
