I remember when Kerrang! magazine started...and MTV used to host a Headbangers Ball....( EDIT: I remember when MTV started ROFL, but I digress )....all the music I saw but NEVER did I see COB on it....damn you, MTV! COB was too punk rock for them, but I did discover Coroner in 87, so that's cool at least.

Don't generalise. You just have shitty teacher. I'm Finnish too and been learning English ever since the first grade. Also, if you want to internalize some language, you can't depend too much on teachers and school. You have to do your part too and learn the language during your freetime.
