This has to legit be the best edit I've ever seen for Bucky

I don't think I've ever seen a Bucky edit that uses Sebastian's scenes from "Kings" and I have to say I am in _awe_ - Jack's scenes and some of the things he's said like in this video work *so* well for Bucky. And the German at the beginning made me, as a native German speaker, do a double take because I rarely see editors do something like that. Everything about this edit is so good I love it so much. Well done!
This is absolutely phenomenal! The story, the beats, the transitions, the song. It really hits you in the gut. Love when someone uses Sebastian scenes from Kings.

omg, ever since i had seen Kings (like years ago),, i wished someone would make an incredible bucky edit using those specific dialogues from it that you used. i am in awe bc something like this is exactly what i had pictured. amazing edit!! this has such a comic vibe to it, i love it.
this is hands down the best MCU edit I've ever seen. Unparalleled attention to detail and creativity in use of non-MCU clips and voiceovers. There are so many moments that hit me like a gut punch but the Steve/Pierce transition and the Hunger Games voiceover and the way you mirrored dancing/fighting scenes and the clip right at "...or know." I've literally sent it to all of my fandom buddies and rewatched it like 10 times in a single day since finding it.

I love how you drew your own parallels and transitions between the flashback footage and "present day" - I interpreted this as his trauma coming back to haunt him in seemingly safe situations. Transfixed by the Steve to Karpov transition ahhhh! Not to mention the chilling German voiceovers in the beginning, and your use of media I've never seen before in these types of videos!
Overall a very interesting and compelling compilation to me! Inspiring :)

Thank you so much! The German voiceovers are from the TV show Babylon Berlin, Sebastian's (and the "I'm not your enemy" one) are from Kings, and the ones about fear + the torture and brainwashing are from Hunger Games' Mockingjay Pt.1 :)

Yeah, ofc! All the shots of him in the green are from NBC’s Kings (episode 7? I think), and all the voiceovers are from Kings too. I think many of them are from that same ep actually but don’t quote me on that haha it’s been a while since I made this.

And yeah, I would recommend Kings if you've got a few hours to spare! It was definitely interesting to me, very nice visuals and lots of underlying themes of faith and free will and identity and sacrifice, all wrapped up in politics (my fave kind of genre tbh hahah). You'll see this a lot in discussions of it (I think Sebastian brought it up in a couple of interviews as well) but if it had come out today as opposed to in 2009 and was on a better network, it probably would've gotten way more recognition.
(Side note for anyone interested, because they def inspired me: the great SecretlyToDream has a couple of lovely edits from a few years back that really capture the vibe of the show! They're not a 100% spoiler free though so proceed with caution.)
