The CASIO CELVIANO AP 470 DIGITAL PIANO is a relatively new item for us at HILTON PIANO CENTER in Albany NY. But it all honesty, we have been BLOWN AWAY with the features on this instrument, and at a fantastic price--only $1500!. This one is in white, which seems to be the trend today.
It has a very well built cabinet, with a nice cover to protect the keys. And the tones are amazing. It contains very high quality concert grand piano tones in several variations, electric pianos, strings, and many others with split and layering capabilities. Very easy to access many of the controls right on the keyboard. It has a 4 speaker system that surrounds you with stereo sound, and also has 2 headphone jacks, which makes it great for private playing, but also an instructor can sit with you and you can BOTH work in privacy.
Practice makes perfect, and you have plenty of novel ways to do it.. You can play along to pre-recorded mp3s or wavs by placing them on a thumb drive and inserting them into the USB input.
It also has audio record, midi record, and CONCERT PLAY which allows you to play with an ORCHESTRA!! You will have to listen to the demo here to believe it.
The free Chordana Play app opens up yet another whole world of possibilities, including downloading of digital sheet music and more.
