  • LightSwitch is a smart switch from Ajax with a large touch-sensitive panel that can be activated both by tap and contactless. With LightSwitch, it's easy to turn on lights and floor lamps, and control automated electric curtains or roller shutters - just put your hand less than 15 mm close to the switch. A soft backlight eliminates groping the switch on the wall and looking for the right button at night.
Available in eight colours, remotely controlled, sized to fit into a standard European socket and seamlessly working with Ajax automation devices - LightSwitch truly combines the reliability of professional security systems and a thoughtful user experience.

Ajax is doing very well in the security field, but they are making a big mistake when it comes to home automation.
Ajax thinks they can independently dominate the home automation business without the compatibility of Google home, Amazon Alex, or Apple Homekit, if they do not support this in the short term, the home automation project will fail 100%.
At the moment, even the big tech players (Google, Amazon, Apple) are working together to create a global protocol called Thread.
That's why it surprises me even more that Ajax, a very small player compared to Google or Apple, thinks they can dominate the home automation world without compatibility with platforms such as Google Home.
Ajax does not listen to their customers, this strategy is not wise for the long term.

Smart home solutions, HomeKit, and Alexa/GHone have hundreds of nuances to address security issues. We make decisions about what the market needs, and we do analytics. So far, the solution for a smart home is not a priority for us today.

Each detector works as part of the Ajax security system, communicating with the Hub and transmitting alarms through the protected Jeweller radio protocol. The Hub receives, processes, and notifies the user of the received data from the sensor. You will receive a notification according to the notification settings: if the detector loses connection with the Hub or if the Hub loses connection with the server.

Standalonesystems are the past guys! I'm a big fan of ajax and also have it at home (alarm) but this way of homeautomation isthe wrong one in my opinion.
