Honestly, I love this whole concept, and would adore it if you could do this for your entire backlog. A tad unreasonable, I know, but Extra History is a great way for me to pass the time while I'm washing dishes at my night job, but RUclips Autoplay doesn't always play what I want and individually selecting episodes I want can be a bit of a hassle. An hour long compilation is exactly what I need.
I wish every history class opened with videos like this for periods and themes. It would set the lecturer up for success with an understandable and engaging summary before deep diving into sources and details.

Parceling out content in smaller chunks when it's brand new is really fun. But once a series is out then I think more compilations should be made. I rewatch EH content all the time, videos in this format (once fully released) would be great for me
I loved this so much. A mass compilation video like this is an awesome addition to the regular content. Only thing I would like is if you could add a "Lies" section at the end where you go over your sources and any disputed information that is in the video. Keep up the amazing work.

Edit; As a longtime fan I’m also pleased with how some of the older segments has been reworked or tweaked ever so slightly. Nice. I’m LOVING this longform format. Hope we get more of these with various epochs. The Vikings hold a special place in my Scandinavian heart, but I can’t wait to see stuff like the Bronze Age civilizations, or perhaps a collection of your WWII and WWI clips.
This channel is just so perfect: the balance of history and comedy with a impeccable narrative. 51:53 really got me rolling on the floor. Please keep up with more videos like this (and I'm opting to watch this instead of studying for my exams next week).

fun fact: vikings saw baptism not as a genuine act of conversion, but as a thing europeans wanted them to do to make them stop attacking them. not only did they get baptised multiple times for free robes, they would often also complain that a baptism wasn't as flashy as their last one

I watched a long-form compilation video from Overly Sarcastic Productions on the complete history of Rome. I really like the long format; glad to see you might start doing it. It'd also be a good way to reupload some of your older videos (which are fantastic). If I hadn't already watched this series (twice already!) I would be grabbing the popcorn
