You never fail to bring us something new, James, with that lovely opening and the view of Lochs Ba and Laidon from a direction I've not seen before. Well done for beating those clouds to the second summit, too. I expect you were glad of the cooling drizzle on your descent, too!
This looks like a very hard hike, James, thank you ever so much for sharing. A great joy to watch. Beautiful views across Ranoch Moor, in deed. Cheers, Martin
Great video. I did these in very similar conditions a couple of years back and loved them. Except perhaps for the massive drop between the two! The view over Rannoch Moor gives them an essential feel. All the best Murdo
A favourite outing...had dramatic spindrift up one side of that Aonach Eagach once. I think the 9 is well deserved. I live those mountains vicariously through your excellent films. Thank you.
Nice video James, I climbed the Munro behind the climbing hut, my friends were total novice climbers so we didn't explore further, I hope to return to do you walk in Glen Etive! I slept in Bridge of Orchy rail station I think it is now a business, cheers Mark!
Another great video James and well done getting another few steps to completing these. There’s a few on your list that I still have to do. I’ll look out for you and say hi if I see you 👋🏻
You picked a great 2 munros to finish that area of James done them a few time and would definitely go back again the aonach eagach ridge is great even if its very short, always a great watch James . Atb Ally 👍👍
Loved this particular walk as it put into perspective the ernormity of the Black Mount walk I did some years ago. The 'Clachlet Traverse', Four Munro's along with the Munro 'top'. The walk back to the Victoria Bridge car park was a bit of a killer though. Happy days and looking forward to your remaining Munro's, not far to go now James!!!
Well done James. Another cracking video. Was rather hoping to see you get wet at long last! Not many left now llad and really looking forward to An Teallach. Cheers, Ozzy.
Thanks Stephen, haha well in a few videos time you will see me get soaked for 8 hours solid 😂 Hoping to bag An Teallach tomorrow, video will be in a few weeks 😁🏔
Cracking video one of my favourite Munro’s there’s also a nice ridge leading to summit opposite side of the Corrie to your ascent route which is worth doing as there are vertical drops down into Corrie Ba cheers
Wow..what a coincidence- just did this last week. Took us 10 hours to do the 4 Munros of the Blackmount traverse. Stayed at Kingshouse and cycled back on the West Highland way last Friday! One of the toughest days my wife and I have ever had on the hills.
@@ScottishMunroJourney Climb up Clach Leathad is an absolute beast- no path. You go from below 800 metres to almost 1100m in a very short time. It actually looks impossible from a distance. Of course this is after you've already done 2 munros with big up and downs. Met a guy coming in the opposite direction (KIngshouse to Bridge of Orchy) and he assured us that coming down from Clach Leathad is no fun either!
Another great video James! Stob Ghabhar still one of my targets. Any awkward gates to get the bike through at Victoria Bridge (so that I can save my old knees a bit of a hike)?
Superb videos as always, I always want to ask about the songs you use in your videos for example In 12:50. I live in Scotland and It may be very popular but can't find the artists or songs. if you can share the artists that would be great. Thanks mate
Hi James, amazing again, a shame you didn’t miss the gloom, but it could have been worse I suppose. Did I see a car where you dropped the bike. You could have drove in! 🤣🤣 All the best Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴
Good vid... done Stob Ghabhar in the snow and that ridge you walked did not look safe with all the snow hanging off it.. You have Sgòr na h-Ulaidh still to do, funny i just bagged that on saturday afternoon its a good Munro, did it with the Corbett. You dont have many to go now , maybe you should let us all know when and whete your doing the last one , some might do it with you
Have you got any plans yet for Beinn Heasgarnich? Closer to my neck of the woods, could help you with accommodation and maybe company on the day if you fancy it?
I have got plans set up for this hopefully, I have a few weeks holiday coming up so going to do a tour of the South.. thank you for the offer though 😁 Cheers, James
Great video, all it needed was a bit of sun. Which Munro are you saving for last? Will you have a live stream so the community can enjoy the moment, with no effort by the armchair fans.
I've done Stob Ghabhar and the ridge walk twice and it is great fun - highly recommended!
Great vid as always.
Breathtaking, masterfully edited opening man! You nailed it once again!
Thank you 😁
Another good trip. And lovely views. Great to see these hills again.

Thanks Paul, it was a great view at the summits of these two.. exceeded my expectations anyway! Cheers, James

Pretty tough but enjoyable day! Definitely one to do in good weather, Cheers, James
A great video, just love watching them and inspiring me to get my boots back on and get back up to Scotland 😊
Nice one 🤘

Great day out and enjoyed the comments en route. Might I suggest Ben More on Mull as your final Munro? Nice and steady for your friends and family.
Thank you, I have actually been up Ben More recently, I am a bit behind on making the videos at the moment 😂 Cheers, James
ben bore on mull 🥱
Fond memories of these two, very spiritually uplifting 🙂 Fascinating scenery 😎
I also found the pull up to the ridge very steep !
Good luck 🍀
Thanks for the video and for introducing me to Beluga Lagoon what a fantastic band. I am at the Glasgow gig in December.
Thanks for watching - the more people listening to Beluga Lagoon the better 😁

Great video James…and yes definitely worth a 9, been up these around a dozen times over the years, definitely at their best in winter.
ATP Jim.🏔️👌

Nice one! Just curious...In your opinion, what month is the best for the best chance of good weather hiking in the Highlands?
End of May/June seems to always be good, less midge too 😁
@@ScottishMunroJourney Cool! Thanks! Looking forward to watching the rest of your baggings :)
Well you have something to thank the lousy June weather for. The waterfalls would not be nearly as good normally at this time of year.
Thats true!

@@ScottishMunroJourney awesome, good luck on the Southern mopping up tour lol
Where was the pooch today? Lovely dog. Do you keep her on lead so she doesn't go chasing sheep or run off a cliff?
She doesn’t like cliffs or sheep, so was at home for this one 😂
Great video, all it needed was a bit of sun. Which Munro are you saving for last? Will you have a live stream so the community can enjoy the moment, with no effort by the armchair fans.
Thats the only thing I needed 😂 might be Carn Mor Dearg, still unsure though.. haha livestream is not a bad idea 😂 Cheers, James
I am not sure if you'll get this reference but has anyone ever told you that you loook like Colin Nish?
😂
