- A simple peasant finds an oddly heroic roommate. This is the TV special on their life and how it affects their relationship. NPCs are often glitchy, unpredictable characters, and it makes it even worse when they're dressed in medieval RPG game gear with hefty swords.

I'm confused as to why people are unhappy about this being a sponsored video. It didn't impact the video at all, and the ad was at the end. You could have just clicked away when the actual video ended. Either that or the poor dislike ratio comes from joking about an abusive relationship. I think the majority of people who are offended by that need to spend less time on Tumblr, but I could see some people being legitimately offended by it.

Agreed. People also need to remember that these guys are producing high quality stuff that takes a lot of time and this is their fulltime job. Sometimes to help pay the bills and make a living, deals like this help them do that. RUclips AdSense alone doesn't give people a living unless their view counts are insanely high in most cases.
Joseph Douglas. Yeah but the thing is that the ads you usually see for this game on a mobile device is *ALWAYS* misguiding and annoying! Why is it annoying? Let me tell you some of the ads I have seen from this game. There was this one where a guy was having a date with one of the characters from the game and made it seem awkward, plus it was using live action mixed with animation.
There was also this one ad where these two girls are playing the game and instead of having actual footage of the game, it shows you them playing a first person game that was the actual game, but mixed up. Very misguiding!
And then there is a bunch of those types of ads popping up which misguided a lot of people.
Proof? I have played the game and the whole thing was pretty different from the misguiding ads.
But this ad instead did not misguided you *NOR* does it show gameplay footage. That makes it a skit.. A very good skit!
Anyway I don't see how it is offensive. It's just supposed to be a comedy skit.
This could have been a lot better. There are so many "CRPG hero protagonist tropes" you could have explored like: the tendency to smash every urn, chest, vase, crate, box, and bottle looking for treasure; or having glassy-eyed "companions" who just stand around in full armour, doing nothing, while they're not in use; or having massive stockpiles of every stolen bucket, broom, and caliper in the world; or constantly being cursed, transformed, framed, hunted, and/or celebrated like a god. And so on.
I feel the same way. Overall, I would give this a "Meh" rating.
There were some references to the actual game in this video. As someone who played the game before I saw this video, I got all of them. "Shockwave" is his ultimate which is a cone-shaped AoE stun. He's also not really a "hero protagonist". Most people can agree he actually sucks in game. Joan would be the hero that most would consider a "hero protagonist" in the sense that she is extremely useful for every single application a hero could be deployed for. But she's a mid-game hero so you don't get to see her until much later in the game. That being said, the most iconic image of Wesley in game is when he is captured since all noobs still run Wesley as their leader and once they hit C17, they get their leader captured. It would have been better if they had him get put in prison with a "time until execution" timer above his head on account of him breaking so many things.
Sounds more like you're referring to "Skyrim hero tropes" than general "fantasy hero tropes"

I used to be an adventurer like you, until I took a arrow to the knee.
Your videos could use some improvements. The graphics were great and the idea/story behind it is even better. It is a good video ll together. But here is where the improvements can begin. The music was too loud and didn't match the tone of the video. (To make it funnier I would of used some mystery music like as if a detective was solving a murder case.) The beginning shot was focused too long on the subject (It goes on for 35 seconds without another shot). If this were my video I would of added a scene after the first 10-15 seconds.

Also if you were to use "mystery music" it wouldn't have the same comedic effect compared to what was used, it's a light, high pitched song in a semi-dark video, so if you put "mystery music" in instead, it would just have been dark on semi-dark, not really comedic, but more serious..
Though I'd agree the music is a little too loud.
I kid you not the first time I watched this video there was no intro or that scene where he walks in (I was talking about the first 35 seconds in the video). Maybe I'm crazy or maybe they added those shots in later on. Also you are right the murder mystery music probably wouldn't have made it funnier. Its just that the music they use now sounds like a SUPER HAPPY MARIO tune and it doesn't match the tone of the video. (He murders people and basically is holding the man against his will.) I just realize saying that makes this video a hole heck less funnier and creepier.
Actually I just realized that they did add shots to the video. I swear to you when I watched this the first time their was no cuts from the first shot for the first 35 seconds. They must of accidentally uploaded an earlier edit version, realized their mistake, and then re-uploaded it.

A "roommate" (in American English) or "flatmate" (in British English) is a person that lives with another person in a house, apartment, dormitory, etc. Roommate/flatmate would often be used for a friend living with another friend.

Lords mobile. Without looking at it, I can guess that it's a trash pay-to-win mobile game that probably has a picture that's a generic cartoon "warrior" shouting into the corner, like every other fucking Clash of Clans knockoff that crawled from the rancid pit where shit mobile games are born.
Xin Guan play the game for once it's not a clash of clans knockoff except for the logo but it is pay to win :p
In comparison to other similar games like Evony and Game of War, it's actually very lenient towards F2P players. If you decide that you don't want to spend any money on the game, you can end up about 90% as strong as any P2P player. It will just take way longer to get there.
