I've been binging all of your underwater ROV videos. I've got to say this is a remarkable game changer in mine exploration videos. It seems the YT mine explore channels have really been on fire in the past year or two, utilizing new technology to bring long past history alive again. This is really great stuff. Thank you so much!
Hi just got to say ROV driving skills are improving immensely. You can't help stirring up the sediment that's the nature of it. Thoroughly enjoying this new aspect into mine exploring. Not that I didn't enjoy them before, lost mines is probably my most favourite mine exploring channel. Keep them coming. Love when you explain all the history. Stay safe guys
This is quickly becoming the most fascinating channel!....Amazing footage and the combination of historical finds and nature is tremendous. Someone call national geographic and get these guys a grant to do this full time!
I am thrilled to see someone else is using the ROVs to explore the underworld. My friends and I have been exploring mines and caves with ROVs for about 5 years. Right now we also are using the Fifish V6 and the Fifish V6S. I have always enjoyed watching your videos, but now seeing you explore the flooded sections has added a new level of stress and excitement to your videos! I look forward to living vicariously through more of your ROV videos! Great work guys!
Your piloting has improved immensely ! Some really great footage! You are a first in flooded mine exploration. Just a suggestion, as soon as you are hung up, stop, turn around, retreat to safety to get untangled, all you do is cloud the water otherwise. Otherwise it is useless to go back into that area for some time. Keep up the great work I really enjoyed your video.
I have never heard anyone talk about mine depths in fathoms before. In the 1970s and 80s I was a commercial fisherman in the Pacific Ocean so am familiar with fathoms, but doubt most the viewers are. --- You are improving nicely on your piloting skills. It would be so easy to get wrapped around something and get in trouble. The haze level in the water is really cool. I wonder what causes that. Isn't "halocline" to do with salt? The separation of fresh water (top) and salt water (bottom). --- You said the controls are very touchy and it's hard to go slow. Check the settings and see if there is an "EXPO" (exponential) or similar setting. If there is that will let you adjust the control so it is slower in the beginning part of the joystick movement. My DJI drones software has an EXPO adjustment that I always set to get nice smooth movement.
Your driving is brilliant! It's not easy; a drone can be quite disorientating and you have to deal with umbilical and 'fog', brilliant footage and brilliant driving. Thanks chaps!!
This is Much Better than anything ever seen on video on that Money Pit Island show. Well Done ! Trip of a life time,. Good luck with your cable and RV. / North Carolina USA.
Omg I would love live reaction versions of the ROV videos!!!! This is amazing work. Your ROV skills really have improved! Also the Halocline is so very cool. Keep up the great work, lads.
Can't believe I caught this one as it was happening! Left for a couple months, come back to find you lads have an ROV now?! And have a fair hand at it, too! Excellent work! Can't wait for the next >^.^
Hi, I think the word is Thermocline as opposed to Halocline, thermocline is the differences in temperature whereas halocline is the difference in salinity if my memory serves me lol. Superb pictures coming back through the drones camera, it's awesome to see how it is all left undisturbed in the silence. It did look like another drift off to the right at 6:48 I agree as you can see planks on the floor it looks like. Thanks for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Hey there! Also watching from Oklahoma... Stillwater to be exact. I feel some kinship with these Welsh Lost Mine fellows, my Welsh ancestors having homesteaded in OK in the Big land run of 1889. Before that they'd helped found Bala Kansas - ghost town now. Before that they'd been miners in Wales. Immigrated to the US shortly after our Civil War ended.
This is awesome. It's just a wonder to think men used to work down there in the abyss ... a perfect historical time capsule preserved ... my friend has a ROV and says it's possible you'll lose your first one but the more you use it just like with anything the easier it'll get but tangle ups are just part of it inevitably so don't let that discourage you. Up next ... scuba diving for the ultimate exploration ... 😃
Honestly I've been obsessed with this channel after finding it, is anyone aware of any channels that cover the old Cornish mines or perhaps those on Dartmoor at all?
Thanks Al and team, that was exciting and amazing footage. It must be very exciting indeed for you every time the cable gets stuck on something and you have to carefully recover from that situation.
Evening ,,,great videos was wondering if you have been in the mine full of old cars yet in wales there is plenty of videos on RUclips of the cars above the water but would love to see the rest under water .I have been wanting to explore it for ages but never been …anyway keep up the videos let me know if they you are going be interesting to see .
Very fun fellas, thanks for sharing your passion to explore, because i don't think you make a lot of money or maybe enough to pay for that ROV at most. It's time consuming just editing videos for everyone to enjoy, cheers
So cool! .. 05:14 19-22-13 on the ROV clock .. at the bottom of the winze ... almost looks to me like the edge of a rubble pile .. wonder if there used to be something deeper that has collapsed or been back filled? Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Awesome footage . That's a toy I'll be putting on my wishlist. I would definitely find a way to mount a 360 camera to it than you open a whole lot more to see. But thanks for your work keep up the awesome exploring . cheers from Blissfield New Brunswick Canada.
It definitely looks like for a long time that level was flooded a few feet above the height of the tracks. i wonder what happened to make it flood so much deeper to the level it is now.
Not a 100% sure this is done for your ROV but on another channel that uses fifish they upgraded yhtir unit`s power with a powerbank that stayed out of the water and charged the unit whilst in operation as well as an extension cable for deeper depths, now as I say this may be a different model from yours but it does look identical,, oh and the upgrades I do believe were fifish products and not third party, still not sure you`d want these extras as the fifish ROV gained an extra lump on top which could be an issue!
That's one cool snow globe...
You have a very calming voice.
You should do bedtime stories for adults. It would be easy to fall asleep listening to you.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks 😊

Love when you explain all the history.
Stay safe guys
The haloclines are very cool! I have seen thermoclines scuba diving but they aren't nearly as impressive. You're getting good piloting that rov.
Al's piloting skills continue to impress!
I’m looking forward to many more of these. Best of luck
This is quickly becoming the most fascinating channel!....Amazing footage and the combination of historical finds and nature is tremendous. Someone call national geographic and get these guys a grant to do this full time!
Why are cave videos so addictive!

It’s just an amazing way to go back in time almost! And you’re the only one doing it. Your skills are definitely better.

The haloclines are amazing, I didn’t expect to see that. Its absolutely fascinating to get to see what’s down in the flooded parts of the mines.
Fantastic addition to the toolkit!!!

Mad skills on the ROV!! Very impressive.
Amazing video! You’re getting very good WITH that ROV..
Impressive! I'd rather watch this for hours than the garbage that's on TV nowadays.

instant content. the ROV is magic! ❤️
Absolutely amazing footage

This is truely Amazing to see 😎 where no man has never been before . that mist down there was ever so cool to see and the colours were awesome
I love these ROV videos. Ww2historyhunter has discovered a sunk German ww2 floatplane. It's so fascinating.
That was awesome guys enjoying your videos.👍
This is fantastic. Really takes things to the next level (no pun intended).
Can't believe I caught this one as it was happening!

What an amazing view!!! This is a first for me!
Way cool! A whole new level of exploring!
This has gotten so thrilling! It’s only going to get more exciting as the ROV becomes more manageable 🤩
Stunning footage
Thanks for sharing
💜 well done! Next to the bucket on the 2nd view of it, looks to me to be blue jeans.
Love the rov. Can't wait till more

Very nice with the ROV you can explore more now 👍.
A compass in the ROV would be good idea .
Always keen for more.

SO EXCITING! It's awesome, but also a bit eerie, to see the cart tracks just as they were left there when abandoned. :-)
Great RVO footage of the flooded parts of the mine. You should check out old abandon wells and sumps around the mines above a ground.
Fantastic, thank you 👍🙂🇬🇧
Wow this footage is amazing.
Awesome footage, truly impressive!
Good work
Absolutely awesome. You have a new subscriber, and I can't wait until your next underwater adventure. Many Thanks
This was absolute amazing .
I dont know if anybody did that what you two do.
This views are very very good
Take care stay safe

Really enjoy your videos, you're getting way better at driving the ROV, keep up the good work!
Fabulous footage. You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up and stay safe.
Wonderful footage great to watch, looks like a perilous adventure not getting that cable stuck, looking forward to more

@ 6.25 is that a false floor under the track? Possibly a lower level? Awesome footage from the ROV. Stay safe be lucky lads
Crazy that all that wasn’t flooded at one point I wonder how long it took to flood all that area

Coolbeens
That was so interesting
Another great video!
Hello
Great footage guys! 💯 I wonder if they sell a different type of camera that would allow you to see better in the dirty water.
Great video chaps..... shame you dont have a wireless ROV .. but i bet that would be a challenge in a mine anyway ... Keep up the great content ;)

New sub here, great shots with the ROV
looks like you need sonar in the cloudy parts.

This is 14:40 of how us yanks say "Badassery". Thanks boys

Can you pull on cable to pull it back if needed
How does it calculate it's depth? Seems like it would be more difficult to do accurately in a mine
Fire up a pump
Had to do a double take at 1:55 lol.
