Looks nice dawn ,but I'm handy with a needle n cotton I look round charity shops you can pick ideal bags up for a couple of quid and adapt them and you can do it to your own style ,I help my mates out they borrow what I have extra till they get sorted , I even made a sheets for me swordy spade which again made my own the sheath was made out of old wellies as leathers too expensive and riveted it together ! Sorted

You just sold me on this bag. I found one in a Very good used condition on Amazon and will be receiving it on Saturday 04/15 and I will be using on my very first Metal Detecting adventure. :D Thank you for making this video.

its feels it, twiggys had his for months and its still perfect, where as my cheaper ebay bag is falling to bits!
Hello, I just wanted to say the "attachy thingys " are MOLLE straps .
I have 2 pair of 5.11 pants. Very sturdy and lots of pockets. Well chuffed with them.

+Digger Dawn They're tough and comfy with lots of pockets and a fabric band on your right hip to hang your pointer or your swordy_spade. Water resistant too. Twig would look aces in a pair😉 HH!😁

The first bag has been great, but i needed an upgrade because of the distance and terrain we dig on nowadays! The other was too small, and had holes in the bottom, so id had my moneys worh out of it haha
I pretty much have the same bag I wrap it around my waist instead of my shoulder and I put my lesche through the strap. Nice review
Also I had to tie knots in the strap to get it short enough to go around my waist
Yes you can do that, to be honest im a women and it feels better for me to have it cross shoulder, :-)
Oh No! How could you? You are forgetting the (TP) Maybe a couple Band Aids. I'm getting old and forgetful, I have to unpack and repack every time I go out. I walk miles away from home, so forgetting my digger or extra batteries, water, or the headphones is bad news... I have the side pack as you do, but a small back pack as well, I'll get to my area, set my extra supplies close by and go from there.. Some days are cold to start, then 11AM and time to strip off the heavy shirt. I have got to the point in thinking, I'd rather have to much packs than not enough... Great video!

Hope the bag works out. I have a back pack for food and drink and spares etc. When I have a long hike from the car I take it and park it nearby to where I am hunting. Far better than being weighed down. I also wear a multi pocket waist coat for good finds boxes and I have a simple shoulder bag too. Works well for me Dawn and hope that's helpful.
Yes when you go a distance you need to take everything really, we are lucky there are 2 of us as between us we can now fit in everything we need!
I'll have to buy the mrs a detector !

I always think you get what you pay for, its going to make a big difference to moorland hunting, Twigggys loved his since he got it about 9 months ago!
It looks like you and Twig are now styling . I don't know if I would put sweep in the same spot with food or beverages .:)

my swordy spaid..done in my shief..didnt last 2 months..dont tuck that little devil in your bag...its too sharp..cut it up..for the rest well chuffed..kicking into high gear for sure i reckon.. :-) all the best too the best..gl/hh
I need to put it in there for now, i did similar withe the other bag, but without the sheath and thats got a hole in the bottom now!
Nice bag for your finds . Though lets hope the catch sticks and Sweep is stuck in there for months .. Or he does get lost .... Picture the Newspaper heading . Sweep Lost In A Field ....

Good piece of kit but I like to go light.....
its is very light, we need something a bit bigger to carry all our stuff, sometimes we have to walk miles to remote places, so have to be prepared :-)

none of us use a carry bag. I take a cloth shopping bag and a cold bag for me tucker. Most finds just go into me pockets. Every thing is left in the car. I even forget to take my pin pointer which I hang around my neck. I look daft when we go into a pub afterwards for a drink and me so called mates don't remind me to take me pin pointer off. We carry bugger all and go out 100kms from anywhere.
So very ergonomic.

how do you get permission to detect I've had my detector for 3 years and haven't properly used it only on local beach.
You have to go door knocking on farms or ask around if anyone has any land

We had a sooty but sweep wasnt keen on him living with us so he taped him up and tried to put him in the dustbin!
