Honestly what scares me is that this is what an endoskeleton can do and that they're being held back from speed cause of the weight of well, being an animatronic and all lol.
My favorite type of horror is like 16:40. Not really 'don't look back' but the sound of something unstoppable rushing directly towards you at such a high speed. That's why I LOVE 096 as an SCP, because it's something unstoppable coming towards you and the sound it makes going from a distant scream slowly to something right behind you is terrifying.

I’m pausing and taking breaks, because it’s my second time binging this gameplay. The first time I watched this was back in 2018 and I heavily depended on time stamps for jump scares. This time, I avoided jumps scare time stamps and made it past the other 3 videos without batting an eye, until this one. I’m still avoiding jump scare time stamps, but this level is actually terrifying.
A while ago I got through this by putting loud jarring music over it, I'm rewatching again now and challenging myself to go without. Not fullscreening though.
This level is, in my opinion, the scariest level in any horror game ever created. I don’t think much else can top the amount of dread, panic, and utter terror that this level produces on first playthrough.

Now, I’ve never been that afraid when seeing horror games being played and playing them myself. But I think the basement level of this game is the only part of a horror game that has ever put me in a state of genuine fear. Not the “Uh Oh ScArY” fear, but real, genuine fear. The kind of fear that is onset by something real. This got my senses jacked up to double sensitivity, and when I played this level, and for the most part, this game. This game is the only one that has ever truly made me afraid and fearful. Amazing work, Nickson.

The basement is probably the scariest level in any fnaf related game. One of the only occasions when the jumpscares are actually terrifying and the atmosphere is absolutely horrific.

He murdered all of those children, he lived over 50 years, but he still died, it all ended at one point, even if it took forever. I feel like the “fallen” part of this level where you can’t turn your back was the vibe Security Breach was trying to go for with the endoskeletons. The Joy of Creation manages to do it so masterfully, and while SB’s level is difficult and scary, this takes it to another level. This game is so good it’s insane that it’s fanmade.

7:45 Jumpscare made me spill my tea on myself because I wasn't looking due to my brother annoying me. It was very hot tea. It burnt. My throat is very sore from yelling at my brother. I am sad and hurt.
7:42 is what i say is the ideal way to build tension, and then suckerpunch with the scare. How fast it moves, how robotic its gestures are, how it almost teleports inches in front of itself as its way of mobility. The lighting, environment, the graphics... The sudden shift into insanity tells you SOMETHING is wrong. And then you HEAR it. And its approaching FAST, whatever it is. That, is a jumpscare.

Actually, there's many references/easter eggs Steel Wool put into SB regarding Joy Of Creation; some arcade cabinets have the Ignited, some are titled "Creation of Joy" or other nonsense. I believe the endo segment was a direct nod toward TJOC.

Now, I’ve never been that afraid when seeing horror games being played and playing them myself. But I think the basement level of this game is the only part of a horror game that has ever put me in a state of genuine fear. Not the “Uh Oh ScArY” fear, but real, genuine fear. The kind of fear that is onset by something real. This got my senses jacked up to double sensitivity, and when I played this level, and for the most part, this game. This game is the only one that has ever truly made me afraid and fearful. Amazing work, Nickson.

The basement is probably the scariest level in any fnaf related game. One of the only occasions when the jumpscares are actually terrifying and the atmosphere is absolutely horrific.

I feel like the “fallen” part of this level where you can’t turn your back was the vibe Security Breach was trying to go for with the endoskeletons. The Joy of Creation manages to do it so masterfully, and while SB’s level is difficult and scary, this takes it to another level. This game is so good it’s insane that it’s fanmade.

7:42 is what i say is the ideal way to build tension, and then suckerpunch with the scare.
How fast it moves, how robotic its gestures are, how it almost teleports inches in front of itself as its way of mobility.
The lighting, environment, the graphics...
The sudden shift into insanity tells you SOMETHING is wrong. And then you HEAR it. And its approaching FAST, whatever it is.
That, is a jumpscare.
This game honestly makes FNAF look like a bubble bath.
